Finally I have 3b/c hair at the crown and front of my hair, but 4a cottony hair along the sides and back. I use this on the 4a section of hair with a layer of Murray's loc-lock gel on top and it really does help stretch and define my curls. I've paired this with the 4naturals spring back custard on the 3b/c section of my hair, and got the best wash n go I've ever had since my hair has been more than 6 inches long. February 2, 2013

I love it! This is one of the only products that seems to work for my natural hair. It's very coarse, dry, and frizzy. I combine the afro stretch with coconut oil and water, and it leaves my hair cotton soft. It also works very well for two-strand twists, and holds them together without retouching for days. I do wish that it came in a bigger size. This little tub doesn't last any more than 3 weeks in my head. December 29, 2012
Not for me I applied liberally (maybe too much?) to shampooed 4a hair followed by gel. Cornrowed it to aid stretching. The stretching was unimpressive and I get better much better shine and moisture with As I Am coil or Keracare creams. December 3, 2012
