Rated 5 out of 5 by Best I've Found I've used several brands of nail glue and have to say that this is the best I've ever used! It dries fast and once the nails are on, they're ON. I'm so glad I purchased this product. I had my doubts because it was a brush on (just like nail polish) but I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. Trust me, you'll love this product if you give it a try! March 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Long-lasting, dries fast, and many uses I've used this on my acrylics for about a year, but today I ran out of monomer and looked for alternatives so I used it as an overlay. If anyone is interested, I looked at videos on dip and tip to figure out how its done. You apply the nails and shape them then apply a layer of the glue and tip your nails in the acrylic powder and then I hit the nail against the lid to dislodge any excess. I do both hand and then go back to the first and did it 4 times. It's too thick, but that's because I did too many layers, 2 is pobably sufficient. It needs very little buffing after you apply and all 10 fingers were done while watching a couple episodes of Parks and Recreation. After finishing the applicatino and before buffing, you do need to spray the acivator to make sure the acrylic doesn't stay soft. I read a tip that you should hit something against the nail and if the sound isn't sharp enough, the nails aren't hard enough. Since my nails today were a no-buy experiement, for the activator, I used the activator from the light-less gel kit also sold at Sally's. It worked perfectly. I did apply a couple of layers of clear polish since I've heard that applying acrylic this way is more porous so it picks up dirt and oil easier. I was impressed with how long the bottle lasts too. I took me many months to finish the bottle and while at the end, the glue was a little thicker, it still went on the nail smoothly. November 27, 2010
