Worst Flat Iron I've Owned I bought this thinking it would be better than my Revlon flat iron. Wow was I wrong. I hate this flat iron. I got it free for buying the hairdryer and its junk. My hair is naturally straight with a slight wave and it won't even straighten it. Worthless do not buy!! December 21, 2013
Decent for the price I bought this flat iron maybe 7-8 months ago and use it almost daily. More so when its about time to get another relaxer. Usually the other flat irons I have got in this price range start chipping or the ceramic coating starts to fade or dull, the heat setting doesn't work the same BUT... I have yet to experience that with this one. I like the different settings and I think it gets hot enough to straighten coarse unruly hair. And it's heat up time is decent, it isn't the fastest but doesn't take forever either. I do find that I have to sometimes go over my hair a couple times to get it really straight but I don't wear my hair straight often. The curls I achieve with this are nice but they won't last all day without some type of holding spray. So this purchase isn't a disappointment but it isn't 5 stars either. Oh I forgot to mention this flat iron does nothing to prevent damage you will need to have the correct styling products for your hair to protect it from heat damage. October 12, 2012
Best I've ever owned I am mixed so my hair is thick and wild like a lion, but have a good grade. I got this FOR FREE ;) when I bought my Helen of Troy blowdryer. BOY IS THIS THE BEST EVER (i have several)!!! AND TO THINK THAT IT WAS FREE!! My mom came down and had washed her hair and needed a flat iron. She called back a few days later after she left and asked what kind of flat iron had she used. She actually went to Sally's last night and called me when she got in there to read off to her which one i had. And her hair isnt as good as mine.....SIGH* LOVE MY FLAT IRON!!! BOMB!! Get one and try it, u can always return it. I keep mine at 400 degrees. September 6, 2012
what a mistake i bought this thinking hey it looks like my well working GVP straightener but boy was i wrong it takes a long time to heat up and when it does it isn't even hot so it defiantly doesnt straighten my hair and i dont even have thick hair it normal and wavy plus it pulls my hair out, bottom line i would defiantly not recommend this to anyone.
