Additional Information

  • Recommend prior to chemical services
  • Leaves hair in superior condition
  • Dual chelating system

Regular use of styling products can result in build-up and lack-luster hair. Chlorine and other minerals can leave hair discolored and tangled not to mention prevent haircolor, highlights and other chemical services from turning out correctly. Quantum Clarifying Shampoo removes these impurities leaving hair with more volume and shine.

Quantum has Equalizer 3 to leave hair in superior condition and a dual chelating system washes away minerals, chlorine, hard water deposits. Vitamin E restores shine and revitalizes dull hair.
Apply Quantum Clarifying Shampoo to wet hair, lather and rinse. Repeat as needed.
Lather, rinse, repeat. Extra clean hair has extra bounce.

Works on Natural 4b/4c hair I was surprised at how gentle this stuff is! Wow...it actually cleaned the white residue off of my scalp. ALTHOUGH..... You have to use at least 2 times for it to completely be removed. The first wash with this shampoo doesn't remove the buildup(at least for me) i tested it. But the second time you use it the white film was completely gone! So that is my only complaint is that you need to use it 2 times. But it didn't strip my hair at all of oil. And I have medium length 4b/c hair if this helps anyone out there. April 15, 2015
EXCELLENT! This is an excellent Clarifying Shampoo. I've used both Ion's & Suave's clarifying shampoos for years and Quantum beats both hands-down. You get LATHER for one thing, and you get all the CLARIFYING without feeling like you've stripped your hair... it's very gentle. Just a lovely, lovely shampoo... I'll be repurchasing. Oh, it also smells good... mild, not overpowering at all. Be sure and buy the 'liter-sized pump' to go with the 33.8-oz size bottle. December 11, 2014
Duel Clarifying Shampoo I have non-relaxed, type 4c hair. I love this shampoo. Where I live we have hard water this shampoo works well with my hair. Leaves it soft, moisturized, and manageable. I can literally run my fingers through my hair with the shampoo in it. I cannot do this with other shampoo's. I can easily detangle my hair after just using the shampoo. I do just one wash and my hair has that squeaky clean feeling, but is moisturized, soft, and manageable. I love this shampoo, just don't get it in your eyes. May 1, 2014
Best Clarifying Shampoo I've Tried I was a bit apprehensive about buying a huge bottle of shampoo that I've never tried, but I'm so glad I took a chance on this. It has turned out to be my new favorite shampoo! I originally bought this to remove hard water deposits before coloring, but I have found it to be gentle enough to use as a regular shampoo (I only wash my hair about twice a week). Unlike other chelating shampoos I've tried, it doesn't make my hair feel rough or stripped at all--just clean and smooth. I love the scent also. Great find! November 29, 2013

Use to use the acclaim shampoo from your stores because it was the only shampoo that did not turn my natural white hair yellow. Since discontinuing I have not been able to find another product with the same ingredients. Could you please check out Quantum to see if there is no petroleum. This is the ingredient that turns my hair yellow. Every shampoo seems to have it so I am looking for a shampoo without it.
Thank you

Yes, this product does contain sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate as the second and third listed ingredients. Water is the first ingredient. This is not for daily use but is great to remove hard minerals such as iron (due to heavy amount in well water) from the hair.
