I absolutely loved the color. It was true to the shade guide, there was no dripping. The towel I used to wipe any spots on my skin and my hair after I rinsed it came out totally clean from the washing machine. This color has stay true and vibrant for six weeks, it's the only hair color and shade I'll buy from now on, no more experimenting from brand to brand trying to find the right shade. I'M SO HAPPY!! Color was true to picture on box. Easy to apply and covered gray well. Will see how long it lasts. May 15, 2015
Natural Copper Red Colour, Even From Roots to Ends I am so happy this turned out well, and didn't turn into a disaster. I have been getting my hair coloured in a salon for about a year. My hair is naturally a level 7, light brown/auburn, and I've been getting it coloured to a level 7 copper colour. I didn't want to go lighter or darker, so I stuck with the same level as my roots. I wanted to start doing my hair myself to save money, and the shade 7.43 was the closest I could find to what I had already. To be honest, the colour is a bit redder and a bit more vibrant than what I had going into this, but I already knew that from looking at the swatch so I wasn't surprised or shocked by the result. The woman working at Sally's was really helpful, because I had no clue what I was doing or what type of developer to get. She told me to use 20% on the roots because my roots needed a tiny bit of lift, and then only to use 10% on the lengths because I didn't need lift there, only needed to deposit colour. So in total I used two boxes of dye and two tiny bottles each of developer. I didn't use the same brand developer by the way, because they had this other kind on sale for a dollar! I did NOT need two tubes of colour, one was more than enough, and since I mixed two different formulas I ended up wasting a lot of product. I probably only needed to use half the tube to make one mixture, and the other half to make the other. I think next time I might just purchase one tube and use half the amount of developer when I make the two mixtures. I do think, however, that I could probably get away with using the 10% on my roots as well and just making one mixture, because my roots got a tiny bit lighter and I don't think it was necessary. It doesn't look uneven though, the colour is pretty seamless and looks really shiny and healthy. I was afraid of looking like Ronald Mcdonald but it didn't turn out like that at all, it looks like a natural redhead colour. I also put this on my eyebrows a bit, but be careful because if you get this in your eyes you could go blind! I did need a friend to help me do the back however, and we missed a tiny patch in the back, but I think it looks really good for my first time and no one will notice that. I definitely recommend having someone help you do this, especially to do the back of your hair. I am so happy this turned out well because now I don't have to spend tons of money in the salon, and waste hours there which I always found to be really boring lol. I can turn this into a ritual pamper session and relax in the comfort of my home. This does sorta hurt my arms and lower back a bit though, but to me it's worth it to save so much money and have it look like salon quality. May 7, 2015
I love this product because it last long and when I dyed my hair from a dark brown to light brown it came out pretty good. The conditioner work great . April 28, 2015
