Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 396 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by I've used the light brown #6 hair color a few times, and the first few times, the color wasn't bad. As with most light brown colors, it came out pretty dark at first but then lightened up and was pretty close to the color on the box. Well, I just used this color the other day and my hair is practically black! I was not pleased. It is so, so dark. I looked at pictures of me from when I first used this product, and compared it to my hair color now, and the color is probably 2-3 times darker than when I first used it. Ugh...what happened?! I'm so frustrated with light brown hair colors. They usually come out way too dark. And I have light to medium brown hair, so don't know why it's coming out so dark. It's driving me crazy! I wish a company could come out with a true light brown color that wasn't too dark or wasn't too brassy. Hard to find. On a positive note, I can say that this shade hasn't come out brassy any of the times I've used it. August 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I usually use the medium or light auburn shades (6 R or 7R). I tried 6RC, the Light Cherry Auburn, and I loved it. After two months, the color has faded just a bit. When it was freshly colored the shade was very luminous with highlights in the sun. It is still vibrant, and the roots are almost unnoticeable. Over all, I'd say this is a good shade for me. Thanks L'Oreal for this shade. I love it. August 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I almost always use L'Oreal color. I've tried a couple of other brands and was disappointed EVERY time. (One brand gave me hair the exact shade of Carrot Top! It was supposed to be auburn.) So, I'm done experimenting with brands--I will not bother with anything else--I ONLY use L'Oreal. July 25, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very disappointed in this color. My hair was already a light brown/blonde color and I applied this as per instructions and my hair came out a very dark brown. Will never use this product again. Have used other brands with more success. July 24, 2015
