I hate my new hair color and want to return to my original shade. What should I do?

Go back to your salon. You're allowed to change your mind and your salon pro will take corrective action. If your present color is lighter than your natural shade, your stylist may use a deposit-only semi-permanent hair color or a longer-lasting demi-permanent hair color to deepen the shade. Your stylist may choose a shade slightly lighter and warmer than your natural color to compensate for the higher porosity level in your colored hair. If your new hair color is too dark, your stylist may use a hair color remover to remove the unwanted color before applying a new shade to create the tone you want.
