My hair is chemically processed and has some damage, should I avoid using hairspray?

If chemical processing has damaged your hair, you may want to avoid using freeze sprays, which have a high amount of resins for a stiffer hold. If you do use a hard-to-hold spray, don't try to brush it out; most hair sprays are water soluble and can be easily shampooed out of the hair. For softer, more natural looking hold, try a flexible hold finishing spray.
