This Ball/Crystal retainer is used as nose jewelry. Nose screws have a unique pigtail curved feature at its end to secure placement. The retainer is used when the jewelry cannot be worn.
When inserting a nose screw, make sure that the pointed end clears the inside hole of the nose piercing prior to pushing it all the way in.

A:
You should let the piercing heal before changing out the jewlerly to avoid infection. you can always decrease the size of the piercing but it hurts to try to go back up...you dont have to let the piercin gheal completely, but wait 2-3 weeks when it hurts less to change it. i know you shouldnt change the piercing at all until it is completely healed, but healing time changes from person to person
