Awesome! this stuff was amazing! i've only ever bleached my hair when i was a teenager prior to last night, the first time i used the manic panic bleach kit and no color in my hair at the time and it turned my hair orange. I decided i wanted to have multi colored hair and my hair was dyed red from the loreal hicolor i haven't re colored it in 2 months so it was faded red and i was really nervous about it turning my hair completely orange from the red hair dye but did it anyway and it came out really good! there was still some light pink in some parts of my hair but otherwise it actually made my hair blonde and blonde enough for me to use my manic panic in atomic turquise and purple haze im super happy with the product and will use it to touch my roots up, oh and even when i was rinsing it out of my hair my hair was still super soft not dry and hard to comb through! The Best! I have very dark red hair naturally. Around a level 6. Everytime I use this product it leaves my hair about a level 9. I use it with a level 40 volume creme developer for 40/ 50 minutes,(if your hair is SUPER dark 50 mins isn't unusual, your hairs naturally thicker and can handle a longer time) After that all I need is the proper toner with the same volume developer for 20-30 mins. and my hair ends up LIGHT blonde, it works everytime for my dark red hair. Since the bleach has violet tones, it helps get rid of brassy tones when stripping thru red tones in your hair's natural pigment.making toning much easier. Lighter hair just requires a lower volume creme developer. I LOVE this product! I NEVER use anything else! June 25, 2014
Loooove it! This is my second time using this product, and I don't think I'll ever stop! It's the only bleach that's gotten my hair from a level 3 to a 9 or a 10 in one session. I used it with Clairol Professional pure white creme developer (30 Volume). It did come out with yellow tones, which could be easily corrected with toner, but I dye my hair with bright coloured semi-permanents all the time anyway, so it doesn't matter to me. One tip though... don't bleach over hair that is already at it's lightest level or it WILL fall out. I had some breakage at the ends because of this. But there's no need to bleach already bleached hair anyway, right? I'm just silly! The rest of my hair is great. Just keep using good quality conditioner after. This is a great product for touching up your roots because you get to decide how much to mix with the developer :) June 25, 2014
there are better bleach's after watching many youtube reviews alot people said they thought quick blue was the best bleach, not true. Instead of bleaching my hair to an yellow color like most bleach's do, it turned my hair dark orange! What i've found works better is prism lites purple bleach June 8, 2014

I have black box-dyed hair and am wanting to go back to the original blonde. (I've been rinsing my hair with lemon juice in the shower which has lifted maybe 1/4 of the color, so it is faded.) I have thick curly hair - not sure if that is a factor. My hair has been colored 1-2 times (ish) before I dyed it black. I was planning on doing 2 of the Quick Blue packets and 1 developer, but not sure to do 30 or 40. Thanks for help. :)
A:I'm unsure of when you asked this question, but it'd be best to see a professional for a corrective color. If you cannot afford that you need to get a color extractor first instead of using bleach. You could also try Quantum's Clarifying Shampoo as though it states it doesn't fade hair color it really does.
I have a short-medium hair. Can 1 oz. packet of the product bleach my whole head? I don't want to purchase the 16 oz. tub because I won't be bleaching my hair as often.
A:You might want to buy two 1 oz. packets to be on the safe side. 1 oz. should be enough but since I can't see your hair and the density you have I cannot be sure whether 1 oz. would be sufficient or not. It most likely would though.
I'm thinking of dying my dark hair to blonde. I have a short-medium hair. So can 1 oz. of the bleach enough for my whole head?
A:My hair is thick and about half an inch past my shoulders and I never need more than 2 packets.
A:i think it depends if your hair is thick or not i have thick right above shoulder length hair and it took about 4 scoops from the tub to do my entire head so i think if you have thin hair maybe 1 or 2 packs if thicker maybe 4 packs
