Love It! I have always been the one that has the scratches and burn marks after a relaxer. But after I tried this base, I refuse to get another relaxer without it.! October 27, 2011
Product is great for lifelong "tenderhead" I remember beauticians referring to me as "tender-headed," as a child, like I had something to be ashamed of. Turns out, I have sensitive skin all over -- my skin turns shiny and green with most jewelry, I get welts from elastic and if I get a bug bite or a scratch, it gets inflamed. So I ALWAYS burn with relaxers. I burn so bad, I used to still have scabs when I went back for my retouches 6-8 weeks later. I almost fainted once, so I shaved my head for years. Then I wanted a little length, so I texlaxed at home to prevent tangles and avoid burns. I started to want more length. Finally, I found a pro who really knew what she was doing. She used this base on me and NEVER burned me. Not once, not even when I scratched, not even when blowing out my roots with a Chi Rocket and a round brush after a relaxer. She puts it in a color/squirt bottle, melts it in hot water and applies it to the scalp in 1/4" or so parts. It's like getting a hot oil treatment during my relaxer. My only complaint/warning is that the product melted and leaked out of the sealed container. It worked out for me -- I didn't need 4 pounds and Sally refunded half. My other products were in plastic jars. I wouldn't order w/cloth or cotton items. April 11, 2010
feels so good i love using sensitive scalp base creme for 1 reason. i have a sensitive scalp and there is no way i could get a perm without some type of base. this creme actually made my scalp feel cold and breezy instead of a hot burning sensation. i recommend every body who has a sensitive scalp to use this creme. I LOVE IT!! February 26, 2010
