Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for underarm and brazilian This is my go-to wax for underarm and brazilian areas. Hard wax works very differently than strip wax, I recommend applying baby oil liberally over the area prior to spreading the wax. Apply a somewhat thick spread of wax against the hair growth, not too thick but definitely not as thin as strip wax, this will pick up the hair and encase it. If it is flaking, it's applied too thin. Wait until the wax is cooled but still a bit tacky, about 30 seconds, it's more comfortable when it's still pliable. If you start pulling and it stretches like taffy give it a few more seconds. As with any wax, make sure you have a firm hold on the skin above where you are pulling so it stays taut and doesn't stretch or lift. To remove, pull with the direction of hair growth (opposite direction of application). This is good for areas that are prone to ingrowns, as pulling wax against the growth (strip wax) tends to break hairs off at or just below the skin layer, allowing the hairs to grow below the dermis. I don't recommend it for large areas like the legs as you would go through quite a bit, but but self-waxers this product is excellent for sensitive areas, especially once you get the hang of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly What I Was Looking For I was a first-time self-waxer and was recommended this type and brand. It's exactly what I wanted! I think the people reviewing that had trouble weren't using it correctly? Spread a small amount of baby powder on the area you're planning to wax (after it's clean of all lotions, deodorants, etc.). Make sure that you apply a relatively thick, even layer of wax going in the direction of the hair growth. Wait about 30 seconds to a minute (you can feel the temp; it should be slightly warm!), and then pull off in the opposite direction that you applied it. I have done both my bikini line and my armpits with this method, and they've both worked wonderfully!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not like.. I've used seen way better hard waxes than this stuff. I waited for a good amount of time before pulling it off and it left a lot behind and did not pull off very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Price and purpose Worked great . I did whole face under arms and bikini. Tip make sure it's a little thicker when laying out so it doesn't break.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've used better I have used GiGi before and decided to use this wax. It wasn't too bad but it wasn't good enough for me to buy again. It does flake and gives the look of "dandruff" on the skin. I tried it on arms and legs and the results were average. It did leave quite some hairs behind in some spots. Maybe it is meant for super fine hair but the product did say ALL purpose wax. I will not buy again, I have used better waxes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not worth while Ive been looking for a good Hard Wax, and a sales associate recommended this wax. It's not as durable and kind of doesnt pull off out the hair either..but its not bad..its definitely better than nair hard wax. If you have thin to medium hair then this wax is for you... apply it somewhat thick its stripless so dont use strips, i know a lot of people have the urge to use strip with a stripless formula

Can this hard wax be used in the Gigi warmer as with their other waxes?
