Ampro Pro Styl Protein Styling Gel 4.1 5 7 7
Very supple Keeps my hair luxurious and in place May 20, 2015
Great gel This gel doesn't make my head itch, nor does it ball up like some gels do. It provides great hold even when applied over Shealoe. It does make hands turn brown, and has a slight soapy smell, but those concerns are really minor when you consider how well it works and the price. July 28, 2013
Excellent!! After using what seems like hundreds of gels to slick down my unruly edges, I decided to try the Ampro Pro Style Gel. At only a dollar and some change I was expecting nothing but hoping for everything. Well, I got the latter. This stuff is EXCELLENT!! I have naturally curly hair that I wear straight so getting my edges to lay down flat has always been a challenge. Most gels work only temporarily and always end up curling my edges upward and than flakes off. Not with this. I slightly moistened my edges with a little water and than applied this gel. I brushed them down flat and waited to see what would happen. I went to bed and when I woke up this morning my edges were still flat and molded down right where I left them!! Best of all my hair was still soft with no flakiness or build up. Definitely a keeper for me. It just goes to show you that you can't always judge a book by its cover or price! April 5, 2012
BEST gel for curlies The 2 cons about this gel are: 1) The color - an amber color that will stain your hands, neck, sink, etc if you don't clean quickly! 2) The scent - Horrible, super cheap smell!! But that's just about it, and they are acceptable because this gel is AWESOME! I am Hispanic with 2c/3a very frizzy hair. After I diffuse and have some frizzies left, I go at them with a small barrel curling iron, then I take the gel, rub on my hands and GENTLY rake my fingers through the curls. They are now set for 2 or 3 days! No flakes and no crispiness. It will be a bit crunchy right after it dries, and yes the crunch will remain for 1 or 2 hours (if you opt not to "scrunch it out"), but once it's gone you have curls that are set and movable and totally frizz free. For days! My Holy Grail finishing product!!! December 26, 2011

I really loved this product. It did its job well. However at the end of a night of hot sweaty dancing, the gel was moistened by sweat and some got on my nice white dress shirt while changing. Does anyone know of a method to remove it from clothes. I have soaked it with oxyclean and put a baking soda paste on it to no avail.
