Master Clipper is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Powerful! I purchased this a month ago to groom my poodle. It cuts through his matted curly hair with ease. This is the 3 set of clippers I've bought and by far the very best. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it got extremely hot after about 20 minutes of constant use. This may be typical, but I couldn't finish the cut because I was afraid it would overhead, and it also was uncomfortably hot to touch. Besides that, it is an excellent clipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ANDIS, my favorite clippers! I've been using Andis clippers for a few decades now, and they're still my favorite clippers. Excellent weight, precision and durability. If you only have one pair of clippers, it should be an Andis.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but heavy Been using it for a few weeks now and wish I would of tested it in store first. Way too heavy for my hand. I've been using oster fast feed for years that are easy & light. I guess if your a guy this won't be a problem for u. The machine is powerful & cuts clean. Just do not buy the purple magnetic clips to go with it they are terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dissapointed! I have been a cosmetologist for the past 10 years. I have always used Andis Masters. I couldn't use anything else. I bought a new pair 6 months ago, within 2 months they were loud, getting stuck in the hair, and I oil my clippers all the time. the side lever kept going up and down. I had to hold it while I cut. Bought another pair that lasted maybe 2 weeks and the same thing happened. I'm so upset and disappointed with these clippers. I will never buy them again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice clippers I like these professional clippers compared to my low grade Andis clippers. So far they cut good. However, I thought the motor would have been a little quiter other than that these are good clippers I like the adjustments notches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12+ clipper cuts a day I am a professional barber and I do an average of 12 Men's cuts everyday and I swear that no other clipper I have used has the guts to cut like the first cut every time! If you keep these bad boys oiled daily, they will last forever. I have used Wahls and osters and other andis and I always go back to my andis masters! I reccommend them to everyone

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing but has flaws I'm not a barber. I'm a DIY'er. I bought th Andis Master several months ago and I've gotten very good use cutting hair for family and myself. The clippers definitely paid for themselves in only a few months and I raised my game exponentially. The Master is heavy and sturdy and cuts through the thickest of hair with ease. Fading is made rather easy, as well. The blades can also be adjusted or "zero gapped" for bald cutting. You just need the right drivers to remove the screws and a little elbow grease. The fact this machine can be tuned and tailored to the barber's preferences is huge IMHO. Probably why they named it the Master. There are a few things to keep in mind which I consider drawbacks of this machine. One, the tip of the blade is quite sharp which can be painful if you're on the receiving end. So the barber should be careful to avoid hurting the client. Two, the Andis Master gets VERY hot after some use. It's actually pretty ridiculous and I have to shut off the machine and let it cool when this happens. I usually pick up another machine or scissors and go to work on another area to keep things moving along. I've started wrapping the machine in an ice pack so it cools quicker. I presume a professional barber might have several machines on hand to alternate. Since I'm no pro, this might be more of an issue for me goven I have one machine and I'm not as fast as the pros are. Also, lately mine has started to rattle very loudly which was unbearable. Apparently enough people have had this experience with to warrant a number of YouTube videos. After taking in a few videos, I was able to "tune" the machine with some effort. As I said I'm a DIY'er so I enjoyed getting in the weeds but if you're not into solving problems you should certainly be ready to send them in for service if it happens. Overall I am happy with the Andis Master but that problem with the metal becoming too hot is a deduction since I'm not aware of any tweaking that will fix this. If Andis can get that issue resolved I'll be happy to get the new machine and give it 5 stars.

What's the difference between these clippers and the master clippers Canada ?

Asked by: Olivianlove
I really don't believe there is much of a difference. You can't go wrong with Andis Masters. They are durable, powerful and cut any hairtype with ease and precision. I won't use anything else to cut my hair.

So are these the best clippers for me to pick from? I'm a young barber who's been cutting hair for 2 years now. I purchased the andis envys, they cut good but I feel there are better ones out there.

Asked by: Deuce 2x
Hi there. Yes Andis Masters and Oster Model 10s. Oster Model 10s are like the Oster 76ers but lighter. I'm currently in barber school now and some times the Masters get hot and you have to let them cool down or get a second pair.

Do these clippers comes with any guards?

No they don't. They are very easy to zero-gap and have the ability to provide lots of dimensions to a taper or fade haircut.

Yes,but should have never bought this product.  It worked for a couple of weeks until it started messing up to the point where I couldn't adjust it at all.
