Rated 5 out of 5 by This stuff is amazing Finally found a base cost that works. I can actually get a week + wear from my polish without it chipping off. Stuff is like glue. I get a bit of wear on the tips but no biggie. My nails actually grow better since I am able to keep the polish on longer. Highly recommended the product!!!!!! October 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent base coat This base coat is impressive. I'm on my 2nd bottle and have no intention of looking for something different...finally! It dries quickly and truly helps regular polish stay chip free for days. I've used it under expensive polishes and also with the cheap drug store variety and rendered the same results. I'm pretty rough on my nails and would typically see chips the morning after doing my manicure, but this base coat keeps the polish looking good for at least a week. To be honest, I always use a top coat which definitely adds to the longevity of the manicure. Lately, the one I found to work best is European Secrets Rock Top Coat. (Yup, Sally sells it!) I highly recommend both these items. I promise, you will be impressed! September 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't live without it I bought this base coat after seeing my professional nail artist use it. The wear was amazing after she did my nails. As a nail art enthusiast, keeping polish on for a while is helpful. This base coat is fantastic. It feels a little weird at first for those who are used to normal base coats because of the rubberized finish, but don't worry. It's not permanently wet. I recommend this 100%! May 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth The $$$ This is the best basecoat I have ever used! I read the reviews yesterday and at lunch I ran over to Sally's and purchased it. I went over to Walgreen's and picked up a couple of cheap bottles of nail polish to try it with and I would've bet the farm that the basecoat wouldn't hold up to its reviews. Well folks, it absolutely did. I am over the 24 hour mark and still chip free. I even washed some dishes, gave my son a bath, and took a shower myself! No chips!!! I always bought the more expensive polishes hoping they could outlast the cheaper brands, but same, same. I have so many pricey bottles of polish I won't use because they chip so badly, but now I'm armed with this bonder and am ready for the challenge. Thank you, ORLY! May 21, 2014

I don't think so. I've only used it under regular polish. The bottle/package doesn't mention anything about it being used for gel soak off polish. I suggest you stay with bonders which specify they're for gel.

Regular nailpolish remover works. I typically use the Beauty Secrets Pure Acetone one. It's just habit from when I used to have acrylic nails. I have natural nails now & still prefer the pure acetone, it works really fast! But again, regular old nailpolish remover would get this bonder off too.

It comes off easily with standard nail polish remover and makes the removal of glitter polishes easier too.
