Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bigen I have always purchased Bigen as I have 3' of hair which is turning gray; however, with this particular brand I do not lose a ton of hair. Now when I brush, just a small bit of hair comes out. Furthermore, it will last me one whole month. Thank You Bigen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product!!! I love using Bigen for coloring my hair and it's simple to use to just cover up my roots. I don't waste product I'm not using. I use just what I need. I get great coverage and when I do go to a Salon they compliment me on how healthy my hair is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this for my hair I have dark brown hair, that is turning white along the hairline. My hair grows about 1/4-1/2 inch every 3 weeks, so I use this about that much. I use a half bottle each time and only apply it to my hairline. I leave it on for 45 min and rinse clean. My roots are perfectly covered and it lasts! I have tried other coloring agents that are "permanent" but they end up fading overtime and give my roots a different color than the rest of my hair. This keeps the color, simple to use, easy to control and it lasts. The only thing is that it does leave my hair feeling dry. I love it for how simple it is. I hesitate to recommend it because of all the health concerns around the product and the neg. affects some experienced with this. I have been using this for 5 yrs or so and keep coming back to it.

i am allergic to the PPD in hair dye my head will itch ,my ears hurt it hurts to brush hair my head throbs and i get a rash would this product do the same as a salons did to me or would it be safer ? due to my last reaction 4 yrs ago i dont dye anymore

Asked by: smith49120
Sorry for the delay in answering, I was out of town. NO! This product has resolved my problem which seems to be of the same nature as yours, but with a slightly different reaction but still an allergic reaction to my scalp. It's a good product and I have been using it for the last 10 years. The only possible problem with this product is it will dry your hair a little,  but if you use a good nutrition shampoo and deep care conditioner, your hair should retain its shine and moisture. Good product!

Can u you use bigen for your beard?

Asked by: LosMan37
I do not see why not. there is no chemicals. it is pretty much all natural, you know you have to mix with a water. i will give it a try. it won't hurt you. and gives you very rich and good color.

Just wondering if this is permanent or semi-permanent? I was told in-store by an associate that it was semi-permanent. I want to get my hair back to my natural black without going jet black and without having to do multiple dyes to maintain it.

Asked by: Sammii89
Yes, Bigens really works well and if you dont wash your hair everyday it will last several months. There are different shades of black, so whichever shade that matches your hair color will be the one you should choose. I use different shades of black from blue black to oriental black. Oriental black is the color I just used. I love bigens because I can use it before, after, or with a relaxer.

This may sound weird but do they make a color in white. My   Beard Is more white than black. I'm done trying to fight it..

Asked by: Stephen e
It would be easier to color your beard darker rather than lighter, white does not come on the first try and you will have to use chemicals that may be to harsh for the skin. Not a good idea.

Just wondering if it would be safe to mix oriental black (59) with dark brown (57)

Asked by: Delphine
I use Light Chestnut (46) myself but since these are more stains than traditional hair coloring I can't imagine it would be an issue. Best suggestion is take a small sample of each & mix it together to see if you like the blended color. Test it on the back of your hand. If it gives you the color you desire then mix the remaining powder together & proceed. You should also post your results (positive or negative) for everyone else to know if this mix works.

Yes, they do. I buy black brown and it comes out more black than brown.

Is this product sulfate free and organic

Asked by: all natural
Bigen does contain sulfates, but not harmful to all types of hair. I have been using this product over 20 years. Excellent gray coverage if left on overnight with a plastic cap and scarf! Next day, wash out, shampoo, and deep condition .
