Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it First time ever using anything like this and it works great! My hair is very dark brown, almost black. Lightened perfectly..honestly couldn't ask for anything better! I've since used it another 3-4 times, same wonderful results. Maybe some other ppl' issue with it is user mother has used it for years, as has my aunt, both with never a problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked well on grey hair I bought this recently and it did take longer to lighten my hair; but I am pleased with the results,,,,,didn't sit under a dryer so it might have worked much better and faster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well works well for me, I have very dark brown hair and it lightens my hair to a dirty blond or lighter in about 45 min. The tone is off but I put dye over it so I get the exact color I want. I usually pair this with the 40 volume Salon Care Developer. Minimal damage to my thick hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sucks Didn't even lighten my hair after 45 minutes. Didn't feel comfortable leaving this junk on any longer. Wish I had read the reviews before. I don't recommend this at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont waste your time Does not work! I'm so disappointed. I have black colored hair and I use this product twice and still didn't lift. It turned my hair red not blonde.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great!!! This bleach powder is affordable and works great. It tones and gives hi/lo lights in one step. It helps prevent the brassiness you get when bleaching without a toner. I highly recommend.

Can this be used with one and only argan oil developer? I have a pure white but it is 40 and I'm not sure if that's to high. Any suggestions I can get would be much appreciated

40 volume if for lifting. 10 volume is to deposit. You have it backwards!

The packaging says 1 scoop with 1.5 - 2 oz of 10, 20, 30 or 40, Here you say 4 scoops with 2 oz of 10 or 20. What does a "scoop" measure?

Asked by: ToniSue99
I freehand it for consistency. I like an "icing" mix, so it penetrates through the hair without being runny & bleeding. Unfortunately, the violet Kaleidocolor I got had a formula change that I'm not liking at all. If this happens w/ the blue, also, I think I will be looking for  a new product. Good luck! Have a great day!

My friend wants me to buy this and 40 volume developer but is 40 volume to high? I had frosted hair then have been dying it light brown and light red brown mixed for about a year now and want to high light it again.

Asked by: keligrl36
40 volume will lift it, but can cause a lot of damage to the hair.  The HIGHER the volume percentage (10, 20, 30, 40) the MORE it will lift.  If you have box color or bad color like ION, don't expect lightener, even with 40 volume, to magically erase black hair dye or cheap color.  You need to do it in stages with at least a couple weeks and a deep conditioning treatment in between.  After you lighten it, you may need to tone it because hair always goes through orange and then gold stages becfore it gets to a whitish yellow.

How long do I leave in bleaching with out using a dryer

Asked by: Lyly jones
It depends on the strength of the developer. For a mid strength, like 20, typically you can leave it in for about 30 minutes. For 30+, you should only leave it in for about 15 at a time, because the bleach is stronger and works faster and the longer you leave it in, the more damaged your hair will become. However, because 30+ develops faster, you should do the roots first, rinse with a good mosturizing conditioner, and then do the rest of your hair. You want to avoid bleaching your roots too much with a strong developer, otherwise your hair will literally melt.

Will this work on my hair ? My hair color is medium brown. And what developer do i need to get what volume?

Asked by: Meagan Reams
Use as off the scalp applications only such as foil or bayalage highlights. 20 vol for 2 levels of lift or 30 vol for 3 levels and condition of hair. Best results wit heat. Blue will countrract any natural gold underlying toones in the hair.

Do I need heat to process this bleach?

I've applied it on my hair and left it on for 10 minutes after application it did not lighten my hair at all and my hair is not very dark but then researched and people recommended using heat to process this
Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, and thank you for your question. Yes, heat will be required. Direction on the product page mention: Timing: Pre-heat dryer. Cover head with plastic cap. Process up to 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition and style.
