Does what I need I purchased this to condition and roller set my hair weekly and it works fine. When I want it on the highest setting I just wrap paper towels around my edges. I also alternate settings as to not burn which helps. To keep the bonnet on you have to turn the hose until it snaps. Did not know that at first and was trying to be delicate with it bc of negative reviews. Only issue I see so far is the noise but that is no different than going to the salon so it really is not an issue for me. April 21, 2014
Okay for the money I got this after buying the Gold 'N Hot hair bonnet dryer. That dryer fell apart after only 2 uses. Just like the other reviewers have said, yes, this does get VERY hot on the High setting. Even the hose gets hot. However, unlike the other reviewers, my unit does get cool on the Low setting and is cool on the Cool setting. I still find this bonnet better than the Gold 'N Hot one. And the box said that this version is the "New Quieter Design". I can't imagine this unit being louder than it already is. April 1, 2012
The bonnet ripped after 3 uses. The heat settings were all the same...hot, hot, and hot. I returned it to the local Sally's without a problem. I purchased the Ionic God and Hot...now I'm happy! March 2, 2012
burning hot! The settings on it are high, low, cool, and off. The low, instead of being warm, blows at the EXACT SAME heat and power as "high." EXACT SAME. And "high" is unbearably hot. And I have a very tough head (as in the opposite of tender-headed). January 11, 2012
