Such a waste I was replacing my old dryer. This one is too loud, and it doesn't offer enough settings. It would've been nice if there was a "cool" option. The hood of the dryer also lacks flexibility and doesn't dry all of your hair like it should. I guess you really do get what you pay for. May 18, 2014
I am returning it The design is all wrong. The only way to adjust the height of the hood is by tilting the whole arm that the hood rests on and there are only three positions. Unless your are Jolly Green Giant and can use the highest position which is also where it is tilted back the farthest, only your forehead and top of head will be dried. The farther it is lowered/tilted forward, the degree of the tilt is straight up and down. On the lowest level, it blows in your eyes and forehead and not on the back of your hair at all. I guess they just made it without trying it out on anyone. I am very disappointed since I wanted a table top model that I could also use when traveling. I guess I will try the roll about ones on a pole stand. I am returning the Gold n Hot this weekend when I am back in the city where I bought it. I only used it once, so the blower/ air still works, but it just gets hotter without increasing the air speed. There should be different controls for the air speed and temperature. Not very useable for me. It is not worth what I paid for it. You also have to be a contortionist to even get under the thing if it is set where it might even work, which there were no positions that work for me. November 19, 2013
As expected This product works very well for me, although I have to agree that it is a bit unstable and difficult to reach long strands. I do use big rollers though and it does accommodate that. Wish that the neck bent a little more... November 12, 2013
Happy with Product I have short to medium hair that I use the dryer to heat highlighter for my hair. It heats-up nicely and for what I need it for it is an excellent hair dryer. For long hair it would be an issue though unless you pile your hair onto the top of your head as the dryer sides are not long/deep enough to cover long strands of hair beyond medium length hair. Once you get used to the opening and closing of the dryer it is a snap after that. August 23, 2011
