Color Charm 20 Volume Creme Developer is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Excellent Wella product and use this monthly, however I would go with the larger 32 oz bottle. Does not fry hair. Hair is in excellent shape now and saves me money. Use exactly as stated in directions 1:2 ratio. A+++

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This did exactly what it said it would. Happy with the results. The Wella brand is excellent. We used it 1:2 as the directions state and have used it multiple months. Does not fry hair. Hair is in excellent shape now. A+++

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Go to a professional! I took advice from a young lady on line to highlight my hair. Bad Idea! The color charm cream and color turned my hair orange and shrunk the hair follicles on my scalp. If you must buy this product talk to a professional first or go to a professional to get it done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Product Ever! I have been using this developer for several years and I haven't found anything better. It's very easy to use. I prefer mixing my own hair color to get the exact color I want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Buy I have been dyeing my own hair for years, and have found that I prefer to use the cream developer with gel dye because it is less drippy. I no longer spatter the walls with color when I dye. I use all Wella products, and always use Regenal and In-Depth treatments after dyeing (I very highly recommend using them). My hair looks and feels really healthy, strong, and shiny, and color fade is minimum. I haven't bleached my hair in a long time, but I am going to highlight my hair now that it's short enough to use a cap, so we'll see how that goes. I've never had a problem with this developer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from definately creamy! This is my second bleaching, i used wellite powder bleach and 20 vol creme developer. it didn't lift as much as i had hoped for, but i was pleasantly surprised at the minimal damage. however, i didn't particularly like how it's extra creamy. i mixed about twice as much bleach than i did when i used salon care. towards the end when it was time to rinse, it started drying and flaking A LOT. i recommend wellite & color charm for those that are trying to avoid so much damage to their hair. to be 100% honest, after i use my 16 oz tub of wellite i will probably go back to salon care.

What exactly is "1 Part" & "2 part" mean?

If I need 2 parts developer, how much is that and which bottle of developer should I use? Thank you :)
Asked by: KittyKat
2 parts developer to one part color means use twice as much developer as color. Eg. 2 oz developer and 1 oz color. Which type & strength of developer to use should be indicated in the directions of the color.

Can you please tell me the difference between a Creme Developer that is 10 , 20, and 40?

I have a lot of gray. Which # developer would be best to use? I normally use the wella liquid colour 5NN light netral brown and would like to switch to a gel. I was thinking of trying the well colour charm in shade 511/5N Light brown. Would that comparable? thanks
Asked by: marvido
the higher the number of the volume of the developer the stronger and more damaging it makes the dye. personally i would use 20 volume because 10 isn't really strong enough and 40 volume is too strong.

Why would you want 10 volume? How does that work

Asked by: lighthouse
You want 10 Volume if you already have blonde hair and just need a little lift. It's not to damage your hair as bad.

i had ombre a while ago, now i have my original ash brown on top of my head , middle is more of a light brown, and the lower is bleached pale gold. i wanna get rid of the blond and medium brown to silver ashy, well developer 20/ T14 tone it out ?

Asked by: Alalulaa

Do you ship to germany & how much is the cost ?

Asked by: Lamaluna

do u just put toner on blonde or all of hair

Asked by: kim helton

Does the developer ever expire? My color has been coming out a bit lighter than normal (I custom mix but measure for consistency), but I wondered if perhaps my large bottle of developer was getting old and I need a new bottle. Thanks!
