Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream is rated 4.75 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING I have blonde, fine, and straight/slightly wavy hair, that I fried this last fall when experimenting with hair colors. I have been searching for a conditioning mask that is affordable and actually works AND THIS IS IT. After reading a few reviews, I decided to try this conditioning cream. I used it once, only leaving it in for 20 minutes, and it worked all right...nothing amazing. So I decided to leave it in overnight. If you have fine/straight hair, you know this is a big risk because this kind of hair gets greasy real easy. The morning after, I rinsed out my hair and even re-conditioned it with some of my normal conditioner (my hair surprisingly felt a bit dry after I rinsed the QH cream out). MY HAIR LOOKS AMAZING. My hair is soft, healthy looking, and not one bit greasy! I am absolutely planning on adding this as a staple to my hair care products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty good I like it a lot. Its not as thick as I expected. I ordered online so I didn't know what the consistency was like but I expected it to be similar to the Queen Helene cocoa butter cream haha. But its not. Really creamy. Smells good. I've seen a lot of reviews of people saying they don't like the smell and its weird or strong but I don't think so. It just depends on your preference of scents, I guess. Its smells light and fresh a bit like baby powder? but not exactly. Just really light and fresh. I'd recommend it. It rinses out clean and completely. Doesn't leave any residue that I can feel. My hair is soft and manageable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Okay product I've had a love/ hate relationship with this product. When I first began using it it was on dry hair with a conditioner and oils. I guess my hair was more damaged then because it would soak it up and my hair would feel softer. Now if I do it on dry hair, it just sits on top of it, and my hair felt drier after washing it out. My new way of using it is after I shampoo. I apply it on wet hair. I add a moisturizing conditioner and other natural oils and deep condition in a shower cap for hours before rinsing. For the colder months its been working better for me. The only pitfall is now that its getting popular the price is increasing because it used to be like 2 bucks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply the best! This conditioner saved my hair after it was bleached, dyed and relaxed. After just one use I had no more breakage- instead I was left with soft, shiny, and manageable hair. If you chemically process your hair use this conditioner to rebuild, protect and restore it to its former glory. I give it an A+. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for bleached hair I always use this after I bleach or lighten my hair, and so far I haven't experienced any post bleach crispiness characteristic of fried hair. I like to leave this in until it dries in my hair, then rinse it out. Leaves my hair so soft!

Are there animal products in this and is it tested on animals?

Asked by: Mcoop
Hello and thank you for your question. No animal testing, however; the cholesterol (Choleth-24) and the lanolin are both derived from sheep’s wool.

Can I use Queen Helene Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream without hot steam???

i don't have steam towel so i'm wondering if i can use blow dryer. Do I have to wear shower caps?
Asked by: Exo
Preferably you should wear a shower cap, but you can do it however you like. No wrong way. You could apply it like a deep conditioner if you wanted. And yes, you can use a blow dryer. Heat setting is up to you. Just apply it to towel dried hair and put on the shower cap then use the blow dryer to add heat for about 5 minutes then you can just leave it like that. You can also dampen a towel and heat it up in the microwave for about 2 minutes and wrap it around the shower cap for added heat. Any way you chose to use it will produce the same results.
