Jazzing Temporary Hair Color is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 83.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relax and Jaxx I have been using this product for more than 10 years. I always use it after relaxing my hair. Because I keep my hair cut every other week, I have constant new growth which includes gray hair. It does a great job covering my gray hair to the point where people think its glitter or highlights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous color! Beautiful bright burgundy on my medium brown hair. Turns my few gray hairs into highlights. Love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Red Glaze I have literally used Jazzing since the 1980s add color and shine to my hair - and have gotten so many compliments over the years. This will not cover grey - I use a reddish-brown permanent hair color monthly for that - but a few times a year I put Jazzing on top to get a natural-looking/brighter auburn. I get long-lasting results by veering from the directions --- time-consuming but makes the tint last 2-3 months. I put it on dry hair (I wash my hair the night before, no conditioner, and don't use any styling products). I saturate my hair with the jazzing (sometimes using 2 bottles because I have long hair.) Then I pile my hair on top of my head, put on a hotel-leftover shower cap, and then a bonnet-style hair dryer over that, for at least an hour. Usually I will just leave the shower cap/Jazzing on my head for an entire afternoon using the heat off and on. (Obviously this is non-work day thing.) After a few hours it dries on your hair and will start to feel a bit hard (or at least make your hair feel a little crispy :)) Then into the shower and rinse out until water is mostly clear - do not shampoo! (I do sometimes use conditioner.) After it's washed out I will use a hair dryer to seal in the color more (as opposed to letting it dry naturally) and style with a flat iron or curling iron to seal it more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fuschia Plum I've been using this rinse for years!! Every time I get amazing color. The trick to getting the color to stay is to sit under a dryer for at least 30 mins before rinsing out. The heat helps the rinse adhere to the hair shaft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I use the translucent its basically a gloss for the hair, I have dark curly frizzy hair with highlights/ lowlights- I usually leave this on for 45min (with shower cap), and its pretty amazing, my hair is much easier to straighten it seals the cuticles- I shampoo condition hair then let air dry 75% then use translucent , rinse and condition again. Salon glazed :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for NATURAL HAIR, but good for relaxed hair. This product is made especially for relaxed and previously chemically treated hair! A lot of people are saying that they are getting bad/ little to no results, but let it be known that this product is a translucent dye, which is not that strong. About 4 years ago, I was introduced to this product by a stylist and it worked amazingly on my relaxed hair. I used the "Cherry Cola" color and my hair was a beautiful burgundy. I continued to use this dye throughout my transition to being natural and also when my hair was completely natural. Currently, this dye does not work so well on my natural (4B) hair because my hair is low porosity and a bit darker than my relaxed hair was. I give this dye 4 stars because I once loved it, but now I don't get the same amazing results with my natural hair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made my hair EXTREMELY dry I applied this tonight, leaving it on for a half hour. when I was rinsing in the shower i knew immediately something was wrong. My hair was rough and elastic. It felt as if i bleached it too long. My hair is like straw right now. And this is just temporary color! Not only that the color barely made a tint. I am white, but my hair is 3b and I wouldn't want anyone let alone someone with curly hair use it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work I put this on natural hair and it did absolutely nothing. It rinsed right out, after 30 minutes. There was no change to the hair color at all. My daughter was very disappointed and I was as well. Make sure you review products prior to purchase, it truly helps!!!!

Would this product work on synthetic wigs or kanekalon braiding hair?

Asked by: Tgod4420
I would suggest after treating it, you wrap them in plastic for two or three hours. This will keep the coloring moist an allow it to saturate the hair or synthetic material. Then after it air dries, rinse it out. I'm not sure if will work on that material. But that's the best result for it giving a good color to my hair.

I am a natural golden blonde and need to dye my hair copper red for a musical I am in. I am looking for a semi-permanent dye that will make me look like a natural redhead and will not stain my hair. Is this a good solution?

I'm in need of a black dye that may last a couple of days but NOT forever (Or less than a week preferably) I need it to work well and strong. I am white with blonde straight hair that has had very little dye used on it. Will this work?

Asked by: INeedHelp
Jazzing generally lasts through 8-10 shampoos. Going that dark might be hard for a blonde.

I dye my hair black with the revlon box would it still work?

Asked by: jmarie91
Jazzing black is the only hair dye I am able to use as I am allergic to a specific chemical in permanent black dyes. I have been using it for a long time - 10 years.  It works well but is semi-permanent so will not work as well as a permanent dye.

Do you use the jazzing on dry hair?   Do you use the entire bottle?   How long do you keep it on?

Asked by: LBENYC123
You use jazzing on wet hair. You use as much as color as you need to coat your hair. I don't think you will need to use the whole bottle. Keep on for about a half hour or what ever the bottle says.

What red would you recommend to offset the greenish tint in my highlights(from overprocessing). Thanks.

Asked by: DodieT2018
Not quite sure but remember, red and green make yellow!

I want a temporary color for a costume that lasts a day or two.  If I apply the product without heat and rinse it, then use a flat-iron on it after I rinse it, will it stay in my hair longer than 1-2 washes because of the heat from the flat-iron?
