Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT THE SAME!!! I had been using this for years and loved it. Until recently, they changed the packaging and it is NOT the same. It would not hardly lift at all and it turned my hair a pinkish lavender color. I'm so upset, now I'll have to find a different product to use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New packaging...DON'T USE IT I want to thank everyone that wrote a review on the new packaging. YES, the hair WILL turn PINK. I tried it on a swatch when I found out about this. I have used this bleach for almost 20 years. I would die if this happened to a client, and I feel for those who did. This is a BIG problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy!! I have used this product for many years and this last purchase I notice the packaging was slightly different and the product was a different color.. i used it anyways.. before I even finished applying the first area I started was looking a little pinkish.. it had never done that before.. I left on to process the same amount of time I always do and when I rinsed my roots are now pink... really pink.... do not purchase this product... a waste of my money ....I bought the big bucket and now I have a lot of product to throw away.. I also need to now find a replacement to purchase...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product I loved this bleach! I went from a dark brown down to a honey blonde. I will have to bleach one more time in a few weeks for the platinum look im looking for. The product didnt smell as bad as some products either. I will definitly purchase and use kaleidocolors again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible.. wouldn't even lighten my hair?? i have been bleaching my hair for a a long time now. Bought this and decided to try it.. was horrible.. i have tried to bleach with this 2x now , the first time i thought i just didn't work because i didn't have clairol developer on hand. 2nd time with clairol developer, it only lightened me like 1 lvl.. i don't think i did any thing wrong , i mixed as directed and even heat processed.. nothing.. i am going back to what i used before. ugh.

My hair is #4 at base I want blonde hair which kaleidocolors should I use

Asked by: K Yancey
Use the blue kaleidocolor
Answered by: Owner of Essentials Hair

which the blue or the purple lifts the most

Asked by: meanings
They both left the same # of levels depending on clients color & volume used. They tones are different. Use blue for naturally dark/black hair to help cut red/orange undertones. The violet gives a nice champagne shimmer to all natural tones & subtly helps cut brassiness.

When will this product be back on the market?

Asked by: Juliewig

My hair is a caramel orange color and I am wondering if I use the blue and the purple together if that would help with this orange color before I go a light blonde close to platinum ?
