Gets the Job Done! I've been using this for a while now....so I feel confident in its ability to get the job done. It absolutely does eliminate build-up and residue. I've never found it to strip or dull my color-treated hair. It does build into a nice lather when you work it throughout the scalp and it actually makes every thing feel really clean. Most importantly, it's NOT drying. Different people may have different reactions or results with this as stated in other reviews, but it's definitely something I will purchase for a long time. Caucasian - thick, somewhat frizzy, naturally wavy hair that I only wash once a week. Because I wash infrequently, I only use this about once a month. July 24, 2014
This doesn't fade my color and works great I have color treated hair and therefore if I use a regular clarifying shampoo, I have to wash a portion of my color down the drain. I was thrilled to find this shampoo in the Sally's store. It's just what I've been looking for. I use quite a bit of super hold hairspray and it builds up on my very long hair and weighs it down. Regular sulfate free shampoo doesn't always remove it. I used this shampoo and left it on for 5 minutes. I then used a deep conditioner and sat under a heat cap for an hour. My hair was bouncy and light because all buildup had been removed. I really, really like this shampoo. I wish it came in a bigger bottle. I only get about 4 uses out of it. It takes a considerable amount to get a good lather, like all sulfate fee shampoos. But I really like it. It works! June 22, 2014
Really Like I bought this to get rid of the hair spray build-up on my colored hair. It lathered up good and I could tell the buildup was mostly gone after one use. Will be purchasing in the future but this one bottle will last a while since I'll only use it once or twice a week. June 28, 2013
Works well if you work With it I read most of the negative reviews before I actually used this product and it was helpful. The consistency kind of reminds me of jello. It has a citrus-y scent which I enjoy. Clarifying shampoos are really only a treatment so I use this twice a week at the most. I also leave it in for a few minutes as directed. You do have to use a little more than usual because it doesn't really lather. I dyed my hair a dark red and there's very little pink that bleeds out because I always use slightly cold water to wash my hair. It doesn't dry out my hair like other clarifying shampoos I've used and it does its job. As long as you make this work For your hair, it's a very nice product. November 26, 2012
