Ion Crystal Clarifying Treatment Safely removes perm and color odor, chemical residue and build-up from styling products, chlorine, iron, rust and hard water minerals. Helps prevent breakage. Use before chemical services to prep hair for coloring, straightening or perms.

Use before color services for better color results. If using after a perm, use two days after perms containing peroxide.

Fill an applicator bottle with 2oz of warm water. Add contents of packette and shake to dissolve crystals. Mixture will form a soft gel. Section towel-dried hair and work gel thoroughly into each section. Leave on 3 to 5 minutes for light build-up and up to 20 minutes for heavy build-up. Application of heat will insure better results. Shampoo and rinse after processing, then proceed with chemical service. See CAUTION below for use on white or non-pigmented hair.

 

DIRECTIONS FOR BUILD-UP REMOVAL OR AFTER CHEMICAL SERVICE: Pour contents into palms and rub with 1oz of water to dissolve crystals. Massage thoroughly into hair and scalp. Leave on for 1 to 2 minutes following a chemical service. If used alone, leave on 3 to 5 minutes for light build-up and up to 20 minutes for heavy build-up. Application of heat will insure better results. Rinse, but do not shampoo. Follow with conditioner if desired. See CAUTION below for use on white or non-pigmented hair.

 

CAUTION: IF USED ON WHITE, NON-PIGMENTED HAIR, DO NOT USE HEAT TO PROCESS OR USE HOT APPLIANCES IMMEDIATELY AFTER TREATMENT. IN RARE CASES, USE ON WHITE HAIR WITH HEAT CAN CAUSE A SLIGHT DISCOLORATION TO THE HAIR. THIS DISCOLORATION IS TEMPORARY AND WILL WASH AWAY AFTER SEVERAL SHAMPOOS.
