Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fanci-Full Fan I have white hair which just washes me out as well as making me look 20 years older. For decades I used permanent hair dyes and was sick of the upkeep and the effects of peroxide on my hair. Then I borrowed my mothers Fanci-Full on white grown out hair which she used for years and I loved it. I use the liquid version of Bashful Blonde and I can go two shampoos without having to use it again. Plus my hair is very shiny and healthy now. I love this stuff.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good product I think this is a good product and works really well! Just follow the instructions in order to see a good result. When I tried the first time I saturated the hair with the product and was awkward because my hair was tight but with a nice color...after that I just put a reasonable amount of product and was really better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great... if you can stand the smell. Just purchased and tried the White Minx. When I started applying, I thought it wasn't doing a darn thing. Then I got to blow drying... BAM. Once my hair was dry, it looked awesome. The only problem was the smell of the stuff. It smelled like play-doh or something. My sense of smell is very delicate, so it might not bother others as much, but I just couldn't get past it. After having this stuff on my head for half an hour, I had to wash it out. Which is really upsetting, because I *loved* how it looked. I definitely recommend it if you aren't bothered by scents (which my husband tells me wasn't that strong).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IF YOU ARE GROWING OUT YOUR GRAY... I am joining the ever-growing group of women who are choosing to grow out and embrace their natural hair color (gray or silver). Right now my 1.5" silver roots are very noticeable next to the rather-brassy dyed blonde color that is the rest of my hair. I use Roux FanciFull in the SILVER LININGS color on the dyed blonde hair, and it tones it right down. My hairdresser turned me on to it and I am thrilled! It actually looks fantastic, and really helps camoflauge the "demarcation line" between the two colors. This is really going to help make this awkward "growing out" period tolerable. You will want to wear gloves when you apply it, and it is very liquid-y (like water) so wear an old towel over your shoulders. You could also put it in a spray bottle and spritz it on. PS I am thinking about getting another color, maybe in the SWEET CREAM or BASHFUL BLONDE to dab on the silver roots to warm them up a bit, to further "blend" and even out with the rest of the hair. I honestly think between toning down the old blonde and warming up the new silver roots a bit, I can get through the next year or so of grow-out quite painlessly and attractively!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprised Myself I had two bottles of the Roux Temporary liquid. One was Chocolate Brown and the other was Silver Lining. Over the past two weeks I have pretty well destroyed my hair and the only color whether bleaching, vitamin c treatment that pulled was red, the color I least wanted (I wanted my gray back, used Ion Titanium which was fine...I just went off the rail when I decided I wanted the top white the way is naturally). Anyhow, the red was back to the glowing in the dark stage, so I decided to put the Chocolate on it. No glasses on. Let it sit for awhile then went in to blow dry it. Oddly the color was coming out a light brownish red color. I then read the label and it was the Silver. Could have saved some $$ if I'd tripped over that earlier. But the end result it what is important, I don't look like Disco Bozo...until I wash it again. And I also dropped $30 on that color depositing shampoo and conditioner, which does nothing that any other shampoo or conditioner would do. Nor will the Titanium cover the red. So it's a wait for the march of the gray and white roots, helped along by Roux.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from silver mist I have been coloring my hair since I was 13 years old and I am almost 50 now, needless to say sick of the chemicals and things that go with doing hair so after my daughters wedding a couple months ago I had someone help me buzz off a good deal of hair and there sadly sat a brown permed damaged mess on the ground and I now had about a inch of lemon colored blonde all over my head because the last root color took too light. I got alot of attention at first as I guess all of you blondes must get! Then my 100% grey and white came in, it was a real struggle to go natural, gray and lemon yellow bad combo so I found this silver mist fanciful rinse put it in a spray bottle and sprayed my whole head It was too intense kindof a purple blue luckily washed it out and diluted it with some water and sprayed more on the ends than the scalp this time turned out great looks all natural now I am happy I will survive this growing out experiment. I even got a compliment on the nice silver color! It is a heavier formula than when I used it as a kid but it is great to control short hair keeps it from turning into a poof ball

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product when transitioning colors I use this while I am letting my white hair grown in. This going natural transition is tough, because of my bright white contrast. Fanci-Full at least partially blends the colors and tones down the white hair and the old light brown color so it looks a little more even. I love that it washes out easily. It is important to make sure you hair is towel dried and not dripping before applying this product as it will hold the color better. Then partially blow dry right away without brushing the hair. Style hair as usual when dry or almost dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't live without it This stuff is the only thing that's reliably worked for me to get orange tones out of my hair. I stumbled across a Roux color chart and found out that #56 Bashful Blonde is their only temporary color with a beige base. This is important for people like me with porous hair that can turn the color of the base - which means I've ended up with blue hair more than once. I can use Bashful Blonde without any worry of what it might end up like. At first I hated the new thicker formula, but now find that this acts like a leave in conditioner and eliminates frizzies. I'll use less and comb it thru, gently because it will get everywhere. I also love the Roux porosity control shampoo (not so much the conditioner). These two together leave my hair sooo soft.

Asked by: muss28in
This color was discontinued I think. I really wish they would bring it back. It was my favorite and is the only color i am interested in using on my hair.

What has happened to Lucky Copper? I can no longer find it in liquid form at the nearest Sally Beauty store.

Asked by: Anonymous
My understanding is that they have discontinued that color. Although, I do wish they would bring it back. It is the only color I am wanting to use on my hair.

Will silver lining work on slate Blue color?

My hair is a slate Blue a bit more on the silver side from using ion titanium dye. I want my hair to be straight silver will this work on my hair color now or will I have to wait until it's washes out? I'm impatient
Asked by: Silverhairdontcare
You will need to wait until it washes out. If you don't want damage but want more immediate results try a soap cap and toner and use this as maintenance whenever you wash your hair.

Would the color silver lining work on my black hair, if not will it at least tint it? Or would just getting white make my black hair grey looking?

I need the answer for this very soon, because it's for a school project
Asked by: Brooke
Hello, and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, no it wouldn’t make the hair look gray if it’s naturally black. This product is for depositing color after the original color process. It’s used to maintain not actually color.
