Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. I have really white hair. I just wanted to tone it down. I have been using Fanci-full bashfull blond rinse. It put a nice blond blush on my hair. I then bought the same in the mousse. It is really great. Very thick and works better than high end brands. Would recommend this to all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great on really light hair My ash blonde hair is coming in super light as I get older. It is platinum in some light, silver in others. It is almost transparent. I wanted some color but not anything that would damage it or get me back in the cycle of having to color it. My hair is also fine, and super thin. I went into Sally looking for a color that would make my hair match some extensions I have. I intended to get the original product, but decided to try the mousse version as I am messy! I expected it to weigh down my hair and didn't know what to expect when using it with all the other stuff I was putting in my hair (Pantene thickener, volume spray, and oil on the ends and texturizing spray). I tried using just the Mousse to see what would happen. I ended up with body and a nice ashy blonde tone. I am happy to be down to using one styling product. Only problem is I wish it came in a travel size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for Halloween I bought this to make my sandy blond boy into a brunette and my light brunette boy into a red head of sort....Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. This didn't do the job well enough to be noticeable in the dark.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Multi purpose hair solution As a salon owner, I stock a variety of the Roux rinse and mousse for customer retail. I recommend the product to use between coloring services OR in some cases to replace coloring altogether. I find some folks just do not like the damage of a chemical service but do want to enhance their natural shade. Men & women both appreciate this option. I also use ROUX post-color when a color balance result is necessary. Sometimes I can use the rinse in place of a toner. Much cheaper and effective.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes curls springy and bouncy My hair color is dark (black-brown) so I never thought a mousse like this would do anything for my hair. I bought this in Lucky Copper for my daughter to use on Crazy Hair Day. One day I ran out of my curl cream, so I grabbed this in a pinch. I am astonished at the spring and hold this gives my hair. In addition, even though my hair is dark, this gives my hair lovely coppery highlights when the sun hits it. This mousse makes my hair is so shiny and full of body, I'm amazed. Also, it makes my hair very soft, and the hold is excellent. This is my go-to mousse.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Roux - New Formula Mousse The only improvement to Roux Temporary Color is it now comes in a mousse which is much easier to use and to apply. The bad news is that even though they had to change the ingredients somewhat to a mousse texture and aerosol, they've added built in setting lotions with a host of ingredients including dimithicone. After combing it through with some difficulty when my hair was drying with no heat applied I could feel it getting thick and stiff. By the time it was fully dry I could barely get a comb through it and found flecks of stiff hairlike color on my face which I hope was not my hair. The color lasted one shampoo as advertised but with the liquid formula which has much less ingredients my hair can go a month and still have color though it would fade to a pretty pale blonde (I use Frivolous Fawn and have hereditary prematurely white hair) ) and would feel nice and soft because of the conditioners. I should add I have porous hair that really holds color. It would have been really nice if the mousse had worked since it is much easier to apply but for me it's not worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it I never stay one hair color for very long and at the moment I'm blonde. I love my blonde hair and I plan on keeping for a while but I've been dying to dye it and this stuff is perfect, I have it in black rage and chocolate kiss. The only thing is that the chocolate kiss looks dark purple on me and the black pulls dark grey. I decided to see if mixing them would help and it did. I use three pumps of brown and one pump of black and it makes it a nice brown black color. Maybe its just my hair but the chocolate kiss, when I washed out, left a purple stain but I got it out with no problem using a clarifying shampoo. Same with black, although it left a grey tinge. but clarifying shampoo helps take it all out. I also have to use a shine spray or an argan oil to give it shine because it makes my hair look dull. I really love this stuff overall. It helps me change hair colors without the commitment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A COOL and USEFUL Product! I recently decided it was time to change from my natural dark hair to lighter, bright blonde settling on a platinum blonde. (Originally I wanted it to be "Santa Claus white" but could only get so far without damaging my hair.# I gave up on that and love#d# the platinum blonde and decided to stick with it even if it was an all-of-a-sudden drastic change. I remembered the Roux Hair Color rinses that my grandmother used many years ago and curious me decided to give it a try. I knew I wanted a red shade so the Lucky Copper was a given. #BTW: I'm a 42 year old male.# I went to Sally's and found this mousse and felt right away that it was worth trying. AND I WAS RIGHT!! It gives me so much flexibility in my color choices and works great as an everyday styling product. It's also very fun to use. It rinses off my hands easily as I run my hands through cold water immediately after applying it. #It does color your hands but comes right off with cold water alone.# It shampoos out without any hint of it ever having been in my hair. It does not "grab" onto the platinum blonde underneath. I've since got my mother using it and she's also very impressed with it. For once I could give HER some fun beauty ideas. LOL! I've used this product, Roux Fanci-Full Color Styling Mousse #32 Lucky Copper for about two months now and love it. It's designed to highlight red hair and/or tones but since I'm blonde it gives me a nice natural looking shade of light ginger with one application or darker shades if I use additional coats. I love red hair on men and people are telling me I wear this color very well. I've bleached my beard to a light reddish blonde shade and this stuff allows me to match my hair to the beard flawlessly. This is where the flexibility in color comes into play. One more great thing to know: I managed to get a small amount on the bottom cuff of one of my white dress shirts when I applied some more after getting dressed. A simple spray of some oxygen based pre-wash solution and cold water took it right out in less than 5 minutes. It floored me because the stain had been there for a few days and I figured it was "too set in" to even be lifted a little bit. Overall, I really LOVE this stuff and wish that Sally's stocked the actual rinse of it but they don't. I hope they will again in the future. I highly recommend this #or any of the other shades# to anyone looking to have some fun with hair color but not wanting to damage their hair. To say it's fun, convenient and useful would be an understatement. I'm still on my first can of it and can vouch for it being well worth the money for it's size....a great value. Go get some and have some fun!!

Will product stand up to rain? I worry that if I am caught out in the rain without an umbrella, the product will rinse out of my hair and onto my clothes.

Asked by: laurieend
If it rains hard enough, it will come out. I have really short hair and it hasn't been an issue for me. But it's a pretty thick product that just sits on your hair. I've sweated some off onto my face just beyond the hairline. But maybe I used too much, and it was a pretty bright copper color.

Can it be used on washed hair without being rinsed off and how many washes to you get out of it

Asked by: Smuggle
Yes, you wash your hair first, towel dry it and then apply it. It will wash 100% out on the first wash. My hair is light blonde and I used the medium brown and it washed out the first wash.

I have very light silver white hair, what color should I choose to be a natural blond

Asked by: Anonymous
I love #26 as it makes my hair a little darker, but still very blonde. My hair is really light, I guess you would call it platinum, but it looks silver in some light. #19 sweet cream is nice too if you want to stay really light buy warm it up a little. Its only $10 to try it and it washes out no problem. in some of the reviews I read that it dulls hair, but mine is still shiny. I use brush rollers with the blow dryer for a little volume. I have not tried to use a round brush to blow it out, so that may be a different experience. It feels like I have twice the hair. Good luck!

Lucky Copper used to be in Rinse style is only in Mousse??

Where can I find Roux Lucky Copper in the Rinse bottles??
Asked by: Kitty
They discontinued lucky copper in the rinse! I called the 1800 number to complain. They said it was discontinued due to low sales. I told them there is NO other red shade in the rinse line. They said they will keep track of requests/complains and if they'll get a big demand they will reconsider putting lucky copper back in production. Please, anybody who's saddened by the discontinuation of Lucky copper in the rinse line, call the 1800 number and complain!!

I used true steel mousse for years was sad when you discontinued it...then went to silver lining.   Now can't find that.   Can I combine white minx with black rage to get a comparable color of those two mousses?   please give me your sage advise. Thanks

Hello! I need to colour my hair black for a show, temporarily, I am natural dark blond. I don't want to use ammonia or peroxide. Will this product cover my hair completely?  Or maybe you can recommend another product

Asked by: lanashammaa

I am letting my highlights grow out and my natural dark brown roots are showing.  Can I use this product for a color deposit until my highlights are gone and which shade would you recommend for dark brown hair?
