Great! Excellent Wella product and use this monthly, however I would go with the larger 32 oz bottle. Does not fry hair. Hair is in excellent shape now and saves me money. Use exactly as stated in directions 1:2 ratio. A+++ December 17, 2013
Great This did exactly what it said it would. Happy with the results. The Wella brand is excellent. We used it 1:2 as the directions state and have used it multiple months. Does not fry hair. Hair is in excellent shape now. A+++ December 17, 2013
Go to a professional! I took advice from a young lady on line to highlight my hair. Bad Idea! The color charm cream and color turned my hair orange and shrunk the hair follicles on my scalp. If you must buy this product talk to a professional first or go to a professional to get it done! November 7, 2013
basic cream developer good product. does what it's supposed to. non-drip, mixes easily. December 12, 2010

I have a lot of gray. Which # developer would be best to use?
I normally use the wella liquid colour 5NN light netral brown and would like to switch to a gel. I was thinking of trying the well colour charm in shade 511/5N Light brown. Would that comparable?
thanks

A:
the higher the number of the volume of the developer the stronger and more damaging it makes the dye. personally i would use 20 volume because 10 isn't really strong enough and 40 volume is too strong.

You want 10 Volume if you already have blonde hair and just need a little lift. It's not to damage your hair as bad.
