Rated 1 out of 5 by from ouch!!!! i have been bleaching my hair for 5 years. I used this developer with Ion Color Brilliance Powder Lightener i had a intense allergic reaction. My face was swollen and my skin was burning i sat in the shower with the water ice cold to bring down the swelling i will never use this product again i'm not sure what chemical i'm allergic to in this product when i use color brilliance sensitive scalp developer i never have issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I used this a few times with my favorite red dye to get the level I wanted and it was great! Especially for the price! Though I will say that my hair is always super healthy anyway, that might be why it has never ruined my hair. But it IS a 30 lift, so obviously if your hair is already fried, you probably shouldn't be using a 30 or any developer for that matter..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible product! I don't usually write reviews but this is by far the worst product Ive ever used from sally's! I used the 30 volume clear developer with the Clairol kaleidocolors violet powder to lighten my hair and oh my god i have never felt such pain doing my hair! and it was only on my head for less than 15 minutes! That's all it took was less than 15 minutes for this stuff to leave blisters on my scalp!! Ive used many different developers and lighteners/bleach over the years and i have never had this happen! I now have a large scab on the top of my head, i would NOT recommend using this product, My once soft and healthy hair is now so dry and brittle its going to take forever to repair, there creme developer isn't bad but i will definitely be buying ION`s developers from now on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from more breakage with this product I don't know why one developer would be better than another but since I switched to this from Loreal, my hair has had more breakage and it seems to be harsh on my scalp when applying. I am going back to Loreal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good results and excelent price I found that Salon Care works just as well as the other developers I've used, and it's saved me sooo much money-especially during the time I was bleaching my hair often. I always recommend this brand to my friends.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dries your scalp Would not recomend the product, it dries the scalp way too much. Spend a little bit more and but a better brand.

salon care 30 volume developer.

I washed my hair on Tuesday, 3 days ago, and left conditioner in it. Today I rinsed out the conditioner, can I still bleach my hair? 05/27/16.
Asked by: Ms.M
Yes this shouldn't have any negative effects. If any thing you might have a stronger hair strand ready for any coloring you choose.

Can I use Salon Care 30 volume developer with BW2 powder?

Asked by: Shel
Yes I do it all the time but be careful not to overlap on previously highlighted hair as you might see breakage. 30 is strong.

Can u just put the developer on dyed hair to lighten hair just a little

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, and thank you for your question. No, all the developer does is opens the hair cuticle to process whatever is happening. If you want to lighten your hair you will need to purchase a lightener.
