Not happy with the change in product I've been purchasing this fantastic stuff for about a year now, after taking a chance on yet another product that promised to control my curls and frizz without being crunchy, expecting to be disappointed once again. I have been more than thrilled to have found it, since it gives me control, and smells great as a bonus! However, the product has changed. It no longer reads "Take Command", and instead reads "Shea Butter and Honey". The cream is a different texture, a different scent, and now dries my hair and frizzes even on days when the weather is fine. I don't have my older container to compare ingredients, but something must be different. I'm returning my three tubs for a refund, and will be looking once again for a product that will work. Too bad a good thing had to be "updated". Sigh. July 27, 2015
Didn't do it for me I have 4c hair, and i was very excited to try this product after i read it. it made my hair like a straw, dry, dry dry, it felt really dry. I try using coconut oil with it, no luck. It didnt do it for me. July 18, 2015
For all hair types! I do not have "multi-cultural" hair, yet I use this with great success! I find a tiny amount goes a long way, so there is great value in this tub. My hair is fine, frizzy and a bit blah, but I can throw a tiny amount of this in my damp hair, let it air dry and be good all day. I suggest keeping it away from your scalp as it can grease up, but that may be dependent on your hair and skin. July 3, 2014
Great product I purchased this for my 7 year old daughter and it works great! She has kinky curly hair that requires a LOT of moisture. I braid her hair every day after school, using this product. It is very thick, so I don't use a TON like I have to with other products. It keeps her hair moist until the next morning when I take her braids out for school. I've done a LOT of trial with different products and this one's a keeper. Most products are OK at best, but this one does the job! April 25, 2014
