Attain the ultimate moisture, definition and curl control with Curl Definer Custard! By smoothing, softening, and protecting, this advanced blend of soft-hold conditioners and moisturizers helps promote natural curl elongation and healthy looking growth. Use regularly to hold and elongate curls providing non-sticky, frizz-free lasting styles with a natural shine.
After hair is cleaned and conditioned, begin applying quarter-sized amounts of Curl Definer Custard to hair in sections, from roots to ends. Rake your fingers through tresses until you see your desired definition. To help evenly distribute in thicker hair, keep a spray bottle handy and gently mist with water (add just enough to help manage each section). Set your style by sitting under a dryer for 25 minutes or allowing to air dry.
This non-flaking, curl defining formula is perfect for finger-styling, taming unruly flyaways at edges and creating perfect coils. Kinky-Coily textures can expect to have greater elongation while maintaining fluffy frizz-free tresses. Excellent for wash & go styles created in the shower. Once dry, scrunch on our Shine & Silken Growth Oil to nourish and add instant sparkle to finished tresses.
Custom Blends: For wet two-strand twists, mix in a little of our Curl Control Pudding with Curl Definer Custard in the palm and apply for greater hold and definition. For extra Heat Protection, add a few drops of our Shine & Silken Growth Oil to the Curl Definer Custard in the palm of your hand and apply before sitting under hooded dryer or using a blow-drying.

Flakes really bad I was very disappointed with this product... It was ok until it dried in my daughters hair.... What a disaster!!!!! White flakey residue... I do not recommend this at all!!!!! April 17, 2014
Good I am pleased with this product and would definitely re-purchase. For a pinch, it will fill in as a styler for those that like KCCC for wash and go's. However, it does not leave your curls as defined and frizz-free as the KCCC product does. However, the price point is amazing, so, you need this product in your beauty aresenal. Didn't experience the flakiness that others commented on. Could be my application method. I cut the product with a leave-in conditioner of choice. Currently using Hawaiian Silky Miracle Miracle (14-1). December 23, 2013
True Curl Definer, but Flakes Same Day My review on this product is bitter sweet. First, I absolutely love how this custard glides throughout my hair covering every inch from root to ends, individualizes my curls, makes my curls full of bounce, and eliminates all traces of frizz, however it does flake in my hair within 3-4 hours of my hair air drying. Now I understand that this custard has mixed reviews and I advise anyone who would like a product that truly defines curls to definitely give it a try; for some users of this product, it flakes- while others, it doesn't. The first time that I used this product I applied a leave-in conditioner before I applied this custard and my hair began flaking as I was applying it throughout each section of my hair. I thought that maybe the leave-in conditioner and the custard did not mix well together so I shampooed my hair again and used this product alone; without any other product in my hair. It didn't flake as I was applying it throughout my damp hair, but within 3-4 hours of my hair air-drying, every time I'd turn my head flakes would just come falling down on my shirt and pants. I'm in cosmetology school and wear a black uniform every day so the flakes are extremely noticeable and people would notice the flakes falling on my clothes every time I turned my head. I continued using this custard regardless of the flakiness for 2 weeks and now that I ran out, unfortunately I will not be repurchasing. My hair looks awesome with this custard in it, but I can no longer cope with the flakes. Most styling products that do flake start flaking on the 2nd or 3rd day, but this custard would flakes (in my hair) within a few hours of applying it so for that reason I've switched to La Bella Lots of Curls Gel- simply amazing- no flaking and another true curl definer. If you're considering trying this product, please don't let my review deter you- give it a go because for some user's who has tried this product, it doesn't flake, and you can't beat the price- it's very reasonably priced compared to other curl defining products on the market. Good luck! December 18, 2013
Good For Me!! I just discovered this product and I love it!! I have read previous reviews which commented on the flakyness of this product. I do not have that problem. I wash, put on the leave in comditioner, then wait a few minutes to mix the custard and the pudding together and apply to my hair while damp. I have soft shiney curls which last all day. There is a little crunch from the pudding but I use 2 parts custard to 1 part pudding to allieviate that. My hair is not that long probably 2 -3 inches so that may account for the non-flaky issue. I deep condition once a week and this keeps my hair soft and very manageable. Also, the product can be very affordable as I get it when it's on sale and I have discounts or coupons. My daughter has the texture of latino/hispanic hair and after she tried my products she immediately went and purchased her own. So being that we have different textures and both use the products I highly recommend that one should try it and judge for yourself. November 6, 2013
