SheaMoisture Curling Gel Souffle promotes curls with shea butter and coconut oil. Shea Moisture's Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Soufflé for thick, curly hair hydrates and defines curls with a soft, smooth after-feel.
Coconut and Flax Seed Oils nourish and hydrate, while sealing the hair shaft to protect against external pollutants. The original natural humectant complex of Agave Nectar, Coconut Oil, Glycerin and Shea Butter promotes moisture retention, conditions hair and boosts shine without frizz.
After conditioning, apply gel sparingly through clean wet or damp hair. Use on wet hair will result in riotous curls. On damp hair expect looser, wavy curls. Comb through with fingers to shape curls and style as desired, allowing time to dry. For best results when using a blow dryer, choose a cool or warm setting. May also be used on dry hair to minimize fly-always and frizz; place a small amount into palms and rub hands together. Gently smooth over dry hair to tame frizz.

AMAZING!!! I finally found a product that holds my curls that doesn't crunch them or weigh them down. It doesn't dry out my hair when =I rinse it out and you can keep it in your hair for days and just add a little water to refresh the product and still have an amazing hair day.A little also goes a long way with this product. I would recommend this product to anyone with really thick curly hair. February 23, 2015
Not Worth It When combined with the Curl Enhancing Smoothie, this product defines curls and holds natural hair styles like no other. However, when you go to rinse your hair, you will notice that this product creates knots everywhere leading to massive breakage. It's not worth it! This happens regularly after a couple days of wearing a natural hairstyle, but after a month or so of Havana twists using this product to hold the style, no product could detangle my hair. There was no other way to get through the detangling process but to break off a lot of hair. In some places there were nickel-sized knots but generally my whole head was a knotted mess. It seems like the agave nectar in this product that goes on sticky tangles the hair with little hope for fully detangling. I wish shea moisture could make a formula to define curls and hold natural hair without the agave nectar. October 20, 2014
Almost perfect This is almost as nice as I expected it to be but for me "a little" does not "go a long way". I need to use a LOT of this product to feel like it's giving my hair weight and definition. I have 3b (some 3c) curls that are coarse, and have low porosity. The hair on the top of my head grows up straight, so it especially needs weight to have any kind of shape and style. This "souffle" has the texture that is similar to Jello, and it can melt to a liquid pretty quickly here in Phoenix. I love the definition and curl formation this gel helps create, but when it's completely dry, it's not able to control dry heat induced frizz. I really like that I can apply this to dry hair, unlike so many other gels. One thing I noticed for my hair is that, also unlike other gels, this one works best if I don't have a leave-in conditioner underneath it. It does allow my hair to be bouncy, and it does not crunch or flake. August 12, 2014
Really depends on hair type I agree with others who have said that a little goes a long way with this product so while it is somewhat pricey it will last you a LONG time. I have 3a/b, fine hair. And while this product does provide good hold and definition, my complaint is that it leaves a greesy residue in my hair and builds up regardless of how little I use. I love the way it makes my curls look but if I touch my hair my hand is oily. This could be because my hair is so fine, so if you have courser hair this may not be an issue for you but I find myself not using this product despite the good definition because of it.
