Travel Curling Wand is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sucks Literally can't adjust heat so it stays at 400 degrees and it comes with a 5 finger glove.. so no point so you just burn yourself still.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for travel I use this for travel and it does exactly what I want. The tapered cone is perfect for all the parts of my hair. I had reservations about buying an iron without the clip but it allows for a great degree of flexibility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great on thick hair! I love this curling wand! It is easy to use, lightweight and gets hot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the wand, hate the "glove" I bought this knowing nothing about wands, and the only reason why I won't give it 5 stars is the "glove" it comes with is awkward and (in my opinion) not helpful for beginners. The wand itself works great! If you're new to wands, I recommend picking up a full glove that will cover your entire hand. If you don't, then you run the risk of getting some painful burns when trying to maneuver the wand for the first couple times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not engineered well I bought this for my daughter because she wanted a good curling iron. I got this because it was inexpensive. It would be an awesome product if it were engineered better. What you don't see is a metal resting stand that is actually attached to the heated element. It's not attached to the handle so it doesn't get piping hot. That stupid handle made this thing nearly impossible to use. The little protective gloves were useless as you couldn't touch the rod for more than a few seconds without the heat coming through. This rod gets super hot but at least the curls are good if you don't mind the burns. We are keeping it but I'm yanking out that resting stand. This is also not meant for a large head of hair. This is more or less for accentuating curls or thin hair. Giving bad review because it's not constructed well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I have been interested in getting a clip-less curling iron and I didn't want to spend a lot in case I didn't like it. When I went into Sally's yesterday, this was the only one I saw and only cost $12.99 on sale! I tried it yesterday for the first time and I am in love! It only took a few minutes to get my whole head curled and my curls are still in from yesterday without any product in my hair. The only problem is that it is obviously a mini so it's much small especially for my long hair, so I hope that they come out with a bigger soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny!!! I saw this product over the weekend on a Sunday and it was still the regular price. I never heard of the product brand so I was kinda skeptical about it at first. Then the following day, I googled to see if anyone had reviewed this item and unfortunately I couldn't find any. So I went ahead and took the chance of buying it and I must say it is AMAZING!!! It actually went on sale, and I thought that was a pretty good deal why not, right? I bought it and I LOVE IT!! I'm still getting used to the size since it's a mini/on-the-go cause I have long hair but overall, I would definitely recommend this. Try to get this on sale but even at it's regular price-it's worth it! It heats up really fast and it's only one setting ( which is up to 410 degrees) so be careful cause it's super hot!

How does Plugged in Mini Cone curling iron work? battery or cord. How do you start to curl & what holds the hair on the rod???? Maybe this should be stated in your description of the product. thank you ahead for your response.

Asked by: sandra lee
It's powered through a cord. The best advice I can give for how to use this is to watch a video (or a couple) on YouTube on how to use a styling wand. This does come with a "glove" that you use to wrap the hair around the wand. For beginners (like me), I would throw out that "glove" and get one that covers your entire hand to decrease the chances of getting burned. What you'll get is something that only protects your thumb and two fingers, and in my opinion, is worthless. Hope this helps some!

does this come with a heat resistant glove ?

Asked by: mooneyes
Yes and no. It comes with something that will nearly cover your thumb and 3 fingers, but (in my opinion) it's useless unless you're already familiar with using a wand.
