Curly Cream Gel is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from So Disappointed! I wanted to like this product badly, for the price it would have been amazing. I was told by a Sally's employee that it was similar to As I Am curling jelly. Oh she couldn't have been more wrong. This product provided very little curl definition with my wash and go. It has no slip and feels rough. Made my hair feel dried out as I put it threw the hair. It also left white balls and residue when used together with my usual products. Returning this product ASAP.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from just don't Wow... so, I've never been so eager to return a product as I am with this one! Just opening the jar, I was taken aback by the smell, but I figured I'd try it anyway. I don't even know why they bother to call it a gel. It's more like a runny creme. And there was absolutely NO hold or even a hint of curl definition for me (I have loose 3c/4a hair). What disappointed me most was that it doesn't even work well with it's own leave-in conditioner. I washed my hair with a sulfate free shampoo so that there was nothing else to alter the effects of these products, used their leave-in (which actually felt really nice - I'll leave a review for that one, too), then started to apply this "gel" starting from the back. I was absolutely horrified by the amount of white product balls I immediately began to see in my comb, my hands and my hair! I just had to run back to the bathroom, wash it out, and start all over again. I'm soooo glad I didn't wait to try this on a work day as a wash n go. I guess that's what I get for not adhering to my "recovering product junkie" rules.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your time. I bought this just to try something new and it is honestly the worst product I have ever used. Its thick and it doesn't spread well even when my hair is wet. I have 3c hair. While your hair is still wet, it feels soft and your curls looks nice! then it dries, and your hair looks so dull, no shine, and crusty as well. It does nothing of what the container promises. Not moisturizing at all. Terrible hold. This product had me thinking it was my hair that was damaged, but I switched to my old stuff and voila- my curls were back. And for 8.99? Ugh, so mad I wasted my money on this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No This is not a good product. It defines, and smells good, but I had to use way too much product. When it dried my hair was dry and stiff. It left a white substance on my hair that did not wash away with co-washing. I had to wash my hair with shampoo to remove the product completely. I returned the gel to the store and received a full refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moisturizing Hi. I recently tried this product in conjunction with their leave-in conditioner. I was so hoping to replicate the results that I received from the now defunct Mixed Silk Leave In conditioner which was my holy grail styling product. Unfortunately, this combo didn't deliver the awesome results that the Mixed Silk would give me for my Wash and Go's. That being said, I believe it to to be a good product for moisturizing and for very, light styling.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like??? Yes and No I'm really up in the air on this one. On one side it left my curls defined and shiny with no frizz. On the other side it left my desert dry. I recommend using a thick moisturizer underneath. Would I use this product often? No. But I would definitely use if I know I was going to be outside on a windy or very humid day. I don't think the curls and definition are going anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3B curly hair It is not like regular gel the texture is nongreasy and mositurizing with a soft hold plus it smells great. Gives hair a nice smooth and shiny appearance. I will purchase this product again in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stuff Used this with the leave in that is also in this line. Didn't care for the leave in but this cream gel was very good for my wash and go. This line was supposed to replace the Mixed Silk line, according to the associate at Sallys. I don't think so, this is nothing like the Mixed Silk, at least the leave in isn't. This cream gel is definitely worth a try though. Gave my curls definition and wasn't too light. I got the best results using on soaking wet hair, had good slip. Then diffused.
