Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by terrible I have been using Ions Repair Solutions Conditioner and like it but I thought I'd give my hair a treat and try the Reconstructor. I don't understand why my hair reacted so poorly with this product. It left my hair feeling spongey and like straw, similar to after bleaching. It's difficult to even get a comb through it. I'm hoping going back to the regular conditioner will fix it. My hair is no longer silky and shiny. December 2, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Dry, tangled hair after using. I am white with brown hair and highlights. Yes, this stuff really messed my hair up. It was fine before I used this. Now it is a dry, tangled mess. I am deep conditioning right now. November 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by GOOD! If your hair is fine due to genetics or chemical treatment...(and I mean SUPER fine) this product is your best friend! It will strengthen the hair in ONE use. It's not like a protein strengthening treatment that leaves your hair super dry (and sometimes even more prone to breakage). It's a lipid (lecithin) strengthen. It leaves your hair strong, smooth, and soft. If you're desperate for a hair pick me up, do this treatment! JUST GET IT!!! I love it. September 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I'm totally blown away! I'm of Western European descent, and I inherited thick, coarse, wavy hair. I'm 52, and over the years, I've experienced more and more problems with frizz. It's worse, too, because I live in central NC, where it is unbelievably hot and humid in the summer. I've tried every product I could get my hands on to get the frizz under control, but no matter what I've done, I still frizz up when I walk outside into the humidity. That is, until I tried Ion Reconstructor! :) OMG, this is the product I've been looking for! :D My waves don't frizz, and my hair looks soooooo much better! Thank you, Sally! I'm buying this from now on. July 21, 2015

A:
No. I know you want the best result, but it's just overkill and NOT NECESSARY with this product.

A:
Yes, you can but you don't need the heat. It will deep condition all on its own! I often wash my hair, put the conditioner in, and do laundry or clean up. I rinse after I'm done (up to 2 hours later). Wonderful stuff!

No where near the same. This consistency is not as thick as the effective care treatment. Does not work the same either, at least not for me.

A:
No, the Reconstructor is definitely different, it's more of a "heavy duty" protein conditioner. The Effective Care Treatment is a regular conditioner.

The Reconstructor is intense therapy!
