Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great product This tanner NEEDS a mit, it turned my hands dark green. It is very messy but works pretty well. You really do need a dry time of the 20 minutes that it recommends. May 16, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fab-U-Lous! I am the queen of self-tanners. I have used the most to least expensive in different formulas and colors, etc. I love St. Tropez bronzing mousse and this one, for the price point, is quite a contender. Love the ease of use and the color that I achieve. I find it hard to believe that people have had problems with the application of this product. Quite frankly, common sense would dictate. Who would put a dark self-tanner on without gloves or a mitt?? If using the mousse, I usually shake mine up. Never encountered any problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this product March 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly Recommend! I LOVE this product! I used to frequent the tanning bed whenever I wanted a little color, however I can get the perfect tan in much less time, and with less damage, by using this tanning mousse. My skin is naturally pale and this product gives me the perfect sun-kissed look! It took me about 30 minutes to apply and another 20 minutes to dry. I used gloves to apply the mousse. I showered about 24 hours after drying and my tan looked fabulous! July 29, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful color I LOVE this product. I have a very fair complexion, so I use fake tan every once in a while to make me look a little less dead. I've used a ton of them, and have just not been satisfied until this one. The color is absolutely gorgeous, not orange at all. It looks really natural and develops pretty dark as well. I was also surprised how long it lasted. It was probably about a week before it completely faded (though you'd need to reapply every 4-5 days to keep the color) and was not patchy at all. My only complaint is that it is kind of a nightmare to apply. I've found that doing more than one coat and more than one "pump" per section, gets really messy. So I just use one pump per section and build from there. If you are putting more than one coat on, I would wait a couple minutes for the first coat to dry. The product takes a while to dry, so trying to apply over a wet coat just moves the tan around and can cause streaking. Oh, and DEFINITELY use a mitt or gloves. I don't know why anyone would use their hands to apply something that's meant to stain. Other than that, I am so pleased with this. July 21, 2015

Just wondering if there's anything concerning about the ingredients in these products, especially since I'm a nursing mama.

With any self tanner I used while nursing, I just never put it around my breasts, and more so so that the product wouldn't cover up my scent since it is a little overpowering.

Is the mousse or lotion (or any other form of application) easier to apply or better than the other?

Mousse is easier, it doesn't drip, therefore less likely to streak.

A:
The mousse is much easier than the lotion because with the lotion, you're more prone to streaking (I tryed the lotion a week ago before a big event). I will say, the lotion does give a nice dark color, but it is very heavy on the skin. If you don't mind the lotion feeling, this lotion by Tanwise is much like the leading brand Sun Labs!
