Hair Chemist Coconut Oil Deep Repair Masque 4.9 5 8 8
Great Find I have baby-fine hair that has been suffering from flat iron & blow dryer damage for awhile now this is very much in need of extra conditoning. I decided to give this deep conditioner a try because it was on sale a couple week ago. Hey why not? I've used it once so far & I really like it. I used my regular shampoo and conditioner. Then I put the Hair Chemist Coconut Deep Repair Masque in & let it sit long enough to shave my legs. Towel dried my hair. Put a small pump of a gel & finger combed it through. Then I let my hair air dry instead of blow drying. Once it dried, my hair felt really soft. It was so manageable that I didn't feel like I needed to wash my hair again until 3 days later. Usually I can only go every other day IF I use dry shampoo on off days. I thought that was pretty great. It smells good & is thick, but not too thick. I felt like I got a better result with this product than from a more expensive deep conditioner from Wella. I will definitely keep using this product & would buy it again. June 29, 2015
This product smells so good, and moisturizes your hair very well! April 1, 2015
Great product I'm a bit of a conditioner addict. I have bleached and dyed hair that I do myself, so I also condition the heck out of it on a regular basis. I got this conditioner to use like any normal conditioner, and it's amazing. I'll definitely be stocking up and using it not only as a regular conditioner, but as an overnight deep conditioner from time to time. It smells lovely and makes my hair soft as silk. Highly recommended! December 7, 2014
Really improved texture Saw this product was on sale and decided to try it after reading the ingredients and reviews. I just colored my hair with a stronger developer and wanted an intense conditioner. So I applied Coconut Hair Oil Deep Repair Mask after coloring. I left it on for 15 minutes, rinsed out and towel dried and blow dryed my hair. My hair was not only like silk, it felt thicker with a very resillient texture. There was an odd smell along with the coconut oil which was okay - smell disipated. But the results are wonderful. Most conditioners just leave your hair soft, this changed my hair from dry and somewhat fried to silky with a thicker texture. Happy. July 16, 2014

The product smells so great and I know that most coconut products are edible but is this one? Not to say that someone would eat the product instead of using it as directed but is it natural enough to the point it would be safe?

My daughter has oily hair, and we use coconut oil (straight oil) as a curl tamer. I can't imagine this conditioner would make your hair more oily, and washes out better and easier than straight coconut oil would.
