works great for my 4c natural hair I love this product for my 4c hair. This is the only product that I have used that stretches my hair...and believe me I tried a lot of products. I use this product for my twist out after I wash and condition my hair. I use it with castor oil and a leave in conditioner while my hair is still damp. The only thing I do not like is the price. It's a little steep. You have to catch it on sale or buy in conjunction with a coupon. July 1, 2015
Design Essentials Natural Curl Stretching Cream This product is excellent. I am always pleased with the end results. This cream adds moisture and shine to your natural hair. The best thing about this product is it goes well with any cream gel. You can use it on top of any gel and the mixture is frizz free with very much definition. I recommend this product highly. Love it!!! I love this product. I wanted to try this stretching cream out because I wanted to minimize the shrinkage of my curls, in other words elongate them. This product by Design Essentials made my hair feel moisturized for more than one day. It also added some volume to my curls. I even love the fact that it doesn't contain any parabens, mineral oil, sulfates, or silicones. So, I'd definitely think about repurchasing this product even though I found it pricy. I would recommend not to put too much in your hair because then it will feel like its piling up in your hair. August 29, 2014
Great for 4b thick hair I have natural hair and this is a curl stretching cream. It works well for my braid and twist outs and gives me some moisture. I usually rebraid my hair every 2-3 days and I never experience product buildup. I slightly spritz with water and aloe vera juice followed my this product sealed with coconut or jojoba oil. My hair loves this stuff. Yes is it pricey but a little goes a long way. This also works well for my daughter who has mainly 4a curls. Product combinations can have a huge effect on how well a product works on your hair so here is my regime. 1. Palmers Olive Oil Condioner-PrePoo 2. Shea Moisture Moisture Retention Shampoo 3. Dr Miracles deep conditioner 3. Aphogee 2 minute reconstructive conditioner 4. As I Am Leave in (in search for something new, I don't really like it# 5. Shea Moisture Heat protectant #to blow dry my hair) I uaually leave hair 20% damp for braidout 6. curl stretch cream July 7, 2014
