- Helps dehydrated hair look its best
- Repairs split ends
- Locks moisture
Moisture is essential for great natural coils and curls. As I Am DoubleButter Cream is a rich emollient blend, graced with the finest array of natural butters and organic oils.
In addittion to outstanding natural moisturizers, it contains Pro-vitamin B5, (known as Panthenol), to help repair split ends and strengthen hair.
Provides dehydrated hair with what it needs to look and behave its very best. Locks in moisture and gives dull dry hair softness, shine and manageability.
Apply As I Am DoubleButter Cream sparingly or liberally depending upon your hair's need for moisture, manageability and vitality. Rub within palms and scrunch onto hair gently so that coils and curls are undisturbed.
As I Am DoubleButter Cream may also be used to set soft lustrous twists and twist-outs.
Don't rub oils or butters into your finished style too vigorously. It disturbs coil/curl definition. Instead, rub product between the palms of your hands, then massage throughout hair and scrunch onto ends.
Try using a little As I Am DoubleButter Cream along with As I Am Twist Defining Cream for in-between retwist touch-ups.

Great Moisturizer Didn't work well at first and then I found out how to use it and now it moisturizes my hair well. I love this stuff. April 2, 2015
Doesn't like my hair I have 4C hair. It has extreme shrinkage with extreme coils which lead me to believe I have something other than 4C hair. Anyway EVERY time I was my hair when I air dry it it's straw dry. I can't do anything to get my hair to be soft and manageable. I tried the As I Am cowash once but it left my hair the same way. Dry, brittle, lifeless. I used this twice and both times had the same results. This left my hair feeling extremely dry but felt waxy. The first time I used this I put it on my hair while it was wet and I didn't use a lot. The turnout wasn't so great. The second use resulted in me putting this on while my hair was dry. This time I put more on my hair and it left my hair the same way. Dry, brittle, and waxy. I don't know why my hair does this after I wash it. It's been doing this ever since I went natural which was March 2012. January 21, 2015
Great for coily hair I first tried this product on dry hair and absolutely hated it. I was so disgusted because the cost was very dear, but fortunately I held on to it. Once I learned about the L.O.C. method and began using it this way, I have never looked back. Hands down the best moisturizer I've used thus far. I use to use Keracare buttercream with their leave in, but that's definitely more lightweight than this. This is expensive, but it's a lot of product packed into the jar and it last me roughly 8 months. I pair the doublebutter cream with the leave in from this line or Shea Moisture's detangler if I desire thicker moisture. I would only recommend this for people with really dry hair (3c-4c range). If you purchase this and find it too heavy, you can try to salvage it by only using a small amount on wet hair, so the formulation is diluted or you can return it. They now have a lighter weight moisturizer called the Cocoa shea whip, which may be better I don't know, because I have not tried it. July 22, 2014
Not for me I have tried several products from this line. This is the only one so far I don't love. It is much too thick and even a tiny bit left my hair stiff, sticky, and dry looking. Maybe it is just too heavy for my hair to handle. **i have fine 3a/3b naturally curly Caucasian hair. July 12, 2014
