Salon Care Elan Plus Conditioning Setting Lotion 2 2
Elan Setting Lotion This is the only setting lotion that is marveluos for roller sets. I have used it for many many years and have tried other lotions, gels etc trying to find other replacements to no avail. Nothing compares to it's lastability and designability. March 2, 2013
Hair won't hold curl? Use this! I have been experimenting with retro hairstyles and trying to find the elusive wet set that holds overnight, or even days for my fine, caucasian, pin straight, will not hold a curl hair. I've tried just about everything. Sleep on wet sets, Lottabody, foaming wraps, bonnet dryer, very hot curling iron, clips, drysets, pincurls...hair would look great, but then would start drooping in a few hours. I used this last night in a wet set and bonnet dryer, brushed and styled it, slept in it with a bandanna to protect the curls. This morning after some slight styling, it still looks awesome and is holding the curl!!!! Finally, with failure after failure, I found the product that WORKS for my hair! (I used pomade to control the fizz, and define the style.) It doesn't make your hair feel soft like Lottabody does, but it holds the curl and that's what matters at the end of the day. It's more expensive, but willing to pay for a product that works! I also got Proclaim setting lotion in my box of goodies, I'll be trying that next and see how it compares. But this Elan setting lotion works! July 10, 2012
