Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product I spent a lot of money, even professionally to get a light ash blond but no luck until I found this product. i had heard that doubling the 20 weight developer works better than adding a bleach booster without damaging the hair. It worked great, I highly recommend it ! January 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hair color... I have used this hair product many years...tried and true. I have short hair and use it every three weeks faithfully. I have my hair done at a salon..take the product with me and she charges me for the labor. I get my hair cut every three weeks also. You will not be disappointed with the is easy to apply and done at home. I am older lady and have stayed with my same hair salon person for 25 years and drive under an hour to get to her salon. Simple directions to follow. I use #20 developer..although # 30 can be used for someone wanting an even lighter result. *Remember, the #20 and #30 developer comes in a creme and a thinner, if you are doing it yourself..the creme is easier to use and does run when you mix with hair color product and applying to your hair. I never realized this until recently when buying the developer.... June 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Natural Copper Red Colour, Even From Roots to Ends I am so happy this turned out well, and didn't turn into a disaster. I have been getting my hair coloured in a salon for about a year. My hair is naturally a level 7, light brown/auburn, and I've been getting it coloured to a level 7 copper colour. I didn't want to go lighter or darker, so I stuck with the same level as my roots. I wanted to start doing my hair myself to save money, and the shade 7.43 was the closest I could find to what I had already. To be honest, the colour is a bit redder and a bit more vibrant than what I had going into this, but I already knew that from looking at the swatch so I wasn't surprised or shocked by the result. The woman working at Sally's was really helpful, because I had no clue what I was doing or what type of developer to get. She told me to use 20% on the roots because my roots needed a tiny bit of lift, and then only to use 10% on the lengths because I didn't need lift there, only needed to deposit colour. So in total I used two boxes of dye and two tiny bottles each of developer. I didn't use the same brand developer by the way, because they had this other kind on sale for a dollar! I did NOT need two tubes of colour, one was more than enough, and since I mixed two different formulas I ended up wasting a lot of product. I probably only needed to use half the tube to make one mixture, and the other half to make the other. I think next time I might just purchase one tube and use half the amount of developer when I make the two mixtures. I do think, however, that I could probably get away with using the 10% on my roots as well and just making one mixture, because my roots got a tiny bit lighter and I don't think it was necessary. It doesn't look uneven though, the colour is pretty seamless and looks really shiny and healthy. I was afraid of looking like Ronald Mcdonald but it didn't turn out like that at all, it looks like a natural redhead colour. I also put this on my eyebrows a bit, but be careful because if you get this in your eyes you could go blind! I did need a friend to help me do the back however, and we missed a tiny patch in the back, but I think it looks really good for my first time and no one will notice that. I definitely recommend having someone help you do this, especially to do the back of your hair. I am so happy this turned out well because now I don't have to spend tons of money in the salon, and waste hours there which I always found to be really boring lol. I can turn this into a ritual pamper session and relax in the comfort of my home. This does sorta hurt my arms and lower back a bit though, but to me it's worth it to save so much money and have it look like salon quality. May 7, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good product I won't comment on a shade, because I mix colors, but this has great grey coverage, especially with the grey drops added to make it better. Leaves my hair soft, not dried out, great shine. February 17, 2015
