Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection!!! I rarely write reviews but I couldn't help but do it this time! I was skeptical when I purchased this and I received it today. Tonight I decided to give it a try. I have been doing my own acrylics for years and always have flaws no matter how hard I try! I watched the DVD and decided to do pink and white instead of colors or just clear. I laid the form over my nail with the tip on it and marked the top where my natural nail and the tip met as a marker for where the pink ends and the white should begin. I put a ball of pink on it and spread it around and did the same with the white. I held it in place for a few seconds and went on to the next nail while that one dried. The forms popped off much easier than showed on the DVD. My nails have NEVER looked this good!! They came out perfect; no buffing needed and have a glass-like shine! I didn't even need a topcoat!! These are worth much more than the price that I paid! I'm in love and am sooooooo glad that I made this purchase! Don't miss out on these ladies! Such a life and time saver!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! I've been doing my own acrylic nails for over ten years. I was on the Sally's site looking at the nail primers and this came up as a suggested product. I looked at the video and decided to order it. I thought even if it was a total bust, it was so inexpensive, it was worth a try. I was apprehensive about using it, so I waited until I had a day off so I wouldn't be in a rush. My nails were a disaster. They were long overdue and badly damaged from a huge landscaping project my husband and I had just completed. I watched the video again before starting, read the enclosed directions, and plunged in. I started with my left thumb nail as I'm right-handed, waited a few minutes, and then popped the form off. I had a perfect and unbelievably shiny new nail! As I went on, I got better and it went faster. I found I could do 2 or 3 at once and file down the ends of the ones I'd just done while the new ones set. After so many years of doing my nails, I had the most perfect acrylic nails ever! The professionals don't get them that perfect, which is why I stopped going to them in the first place. I think the next time will go even better and faster. This product is a stroke of genius!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Haven't Used MIne Yet But.... I have watched a bunch of videos on YouTube and I've been a nail tech for 20 some years. I do my own tips and acrylics on myself and as I get older and my hands hurt more, it takes me longer to do kine at home. These look like the perfect solution! It seems fairly easy and I will be trying them next week when I put on a new set of nails. I like to give y nails a week long rest between sets because I change them every two months or so and just can't hardly wait to try these out. If the work half as well as everyone says that they do I'll be happy. I hate all the filing that I usualy end up doing on my own set but these come of looking like glass! I'll do another review after I use them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive results I bought these about a year ago but was afraid to try them because I had no experience using acrylics. Finally bought the powder and tried it with the forms. The results are truly amazing! Very easy to do -- if you don't get the mix quite right, just add more powder or liquid. Hold the form down on the nail for about two minutes then you can let go and let it 'cure' for about two minutes more. The form pops off completely clean and the nail is so shiny and perfectly smooth with no need to buff. What a great product - highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These give beautiful acrylics within minutes. I love using these but I wish they had bigger sizes, not as curved as they have them, maybe flatter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So after reading the reviews on this product I wanted to give them a try. I am usually pressed for time so the traditional acrylic application can take a lot longer then I have time for which leads to a hurried outcome and some really ugly looking nails. The one thing I am learning is 1- A really good sable brush is a good idea. I have a mediocre one and am sure when I get my new one the acrylic application will be easier. 2- practice makes perfect. It took me a couple of tries to get the first nail right. I think this will be like any nail technique, it'll take a couple of sets before I have this down pack. But all in all I like the product. Leaves a nice even finish and high shine. For anyone that is interested in trying these nail forms just keep in mind everything takes practice! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Like other reviewers have stated, these are great! They are so simple and easy to use. Once I found a CD drive capable of playing the mini DVD, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Using these forms, I no longer get exhausted trying to file smooth nail tops, they pop off smooth as glass. Now there is no need to use nail glue and nail tips, this method is faster, easier and safer. Having a dremel to do under the nails helps too. Note: Kit comes with 10 nail sizes (#0 - #9) with 2 of each size, but mine had 3 size #2 and only 1 size #5.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great forms better than others I've tried This is an excellent product. I have purchased other Nail Forms from other websites and this one by far outshines them all. They are wider so for those of you with bigger thumbnails and wider nail plates this is perfect . With a little practice and watching the DVD instructions it comes with anyone can do this in the privacy of their home. You can also watch plenty of videos on youtube and see how amazing this product is and how easy it is to use. I think its a great product for the price and you get the instructions and DVD. You can use it with either Gel or Acrylic and doesn't have to be the Asp brand. It gives your nails that instant shine so you don't have to buff the nails or remove sticky dispersion layer if you use it with gels. You have to make sure you add extra acrylic to the underneath part of the nail so the formed nail is stronger. Saves you time and money

Mine only seem to last a few days max before the acrylic pulls away and pops off...any suggestions of ehat I need to do?

Asked by: Rosechick313
I haven't exactly tried this particular product but I've had similar issues with the quick set resin. Natural nails have oils in them which can cause acrylic ,gel or resin not to adhere completely . Take a spray bottle or cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wipe the nails to help remove oil. If your nails are really oily like mine, try taking a nail file or buffer and lightly file away the shine from each nail. After your set is complete, try not to add any oils directly to the cuticles or have bare hands submerged in water for at least 2 to 3 hours. This will help your nail set completely seal itself to prevent any lifting. Hope this helps and Good Luck!

how long does it last?

Asked by: Anonymous
I am going into my third week. I made a few quick repairs, refiled and applied additional topcoat, but still going strong. Be sure that you apply adequate glue under the corners. If corners are not attached securely, hair, etc.can catch underneath and pull wrap away from nail.
