Good Foundation BrushI bought this brush because it has synthetic brissles and am trying to keep my fingers off my face. The synthetic brush material won't soak up foundation or lotion- makeup goes on your face, not soaked into the brush! I've been pleased, use a foundation primer and a good liquid foundation to get the best result. Tip: wash the brush with warm water and a mild soap (or a brush cleaner) the evening before you use it. Out of the package it's stiff and works better when you wash whatever that is that makes it stiff off the brush. The contoured shape is great for angles (like around your nose.)

I love my foundation brush!I have actually owned this brush for a few years. I bought it after reading an article from a makeup artist that one of the best investments you could make was to get a foundation brush because you would be amazed at how smoother your foundation would go on. I used it for a long time with liquid foundation, but I now use tinted moisturizer and use it to apply that. It's better than a sponge and much more sanitary than using your fingers. I think it makes the foundation spread easier and more even. Of course part of the finished look depends on the foundation you are using too.
