Very pleased I have been trying unsuccessfully to do a gel treatment on my nails. My old record was 36 hours. With the gel treatment kit my nail gel treatment has lasted for 72 hours with no edges coming away from my nails. Woo-Hoo!! I am very happy with this kit.and the easy instructions ( I did not use the DVD). I have a real sense of accomplishment. Of course I also love the OPI colors too. March 9, 2015
good starter kit Since I am new to diy gel polish, I bought this starter kit. I think it worked well. It comes with a dvd with instructions. I found that helpful. I love the smell of the cuticle oil.... I thought it was a little on the pricey side though. It was less expensive than Gelish. August 4, 2014
Great Product I don't normally write reviews of products but felt compelled to let everyone know that this product is awesome and does everything it claims to do. I have always had a terrible time keeping my nails looking nice because I work with my hands (dog groomer). I recently purchased this product and find it very user friendly. But the best part is that it holds up better than I had expected. I just finished bathing and grooming eight dogs in a row and my nails look as good as they did when I first applied this product. Not a chip, scratch or peel on any of them. If you are looking for a cost effective way of keeping your nails looking good, I highly recommend you purchase this produce....it is well worth the money! Outstanding GEL KIT I really like this gel kit! But I bought a few items to go with it. French wrap by Nail Bliss (got the thin tips, wish I bought the thick ones, had to cut my nails down a lot to fit thin ones over nail). Wooden cuticle sticks, and a 36watt gel curing lamp(can find online cheap). Fine grit file block, Hands Down lint free wipes and Blue Cross cuticle remover. Kit does not come with color polish but I wanted a easy french look. 1) wash hands & use hand sanitizer 2) Use cuticle remover and push cuticles back w/ wooden cuticle stick 3) Lightly file nails & smooth edges 4) wipe nails with lint free wipes NEXT for French Nails 5) Put thin coat of nail glue on corner of nail & on the white area of french nail applicator 6) Press onto nail stopping at the nub guide mark and hold 20sec and then to the sides 20 sec more 7) Use nail clipper to cut and release plastic guide, file and shape 8) Lightly file over french wrap and apply Gel Nail Bonder only on white tip REPEAT ALL NAILS for french look 9) Then turn on 36watt gel lamp 10)Put Gel Base Coat on four finger ONLY not thumb being careful not to let gel coat touch skin 11) cure four fingers for 2 min. REPEAT STEP 10-11 for other hand four fingers and then do two thumbs last 12) Put Gel Top coat on just like you did the base coat on steps 10-11. 13) Use lint free wipes soaked in GelNnail Cleaner to clean off nails 14) Use generous amount of cuticle oil that comes with kit and your done! Smells really good! My mistakes: My nails were to long so I had to cut them to fit thin french tips. Should of got the thick ones. Also, using to much glue, only a thin coat is needed too much makes the french white smear. Tips: start from the middle of nail with the gel polish and complete the top before doing the whole nail when applying. Also use a thin coats. Otherwise, truly amazed even me with bad eyes did an awesome job looks salon professionally done!! July 19, 2013
