Elasta QP Glaze
I've been using this for years! I have relaxed hair, and I reach for Elasta QP Glaze before I reach for a hair gel, especially if I'm styling my hair in a ponytail or a bun. It adds wonderful shine, and it makes my hair feel conditioned and soft. Never hard. This even works wonderful when it's almost time for a touch-up and I'm dealing with dual-textured hair. It smooths my wavy hair out very well when I use a boar-hair brush. I use this on my edges as well. I always keep this on hand!

Not the best option if you have kinky hair
I was in the middle of using up my stash and stumbled across this gem. When I was relaxed it did a good job of slicking back my edges but for the life of me I don't understand why I stopped using it. Fast forward, I am natural for some time and though I will give it a go. I misted my hair and applied on my edges and tied down a silk scarf on my head.
After two hours my hair was slick. I went to work. I would estimate after two hours, my hair was frizzy looking. Apparently my hair soaked up most of the product and thus my slicked back ponytail was turning into an afro. Honestly that wasn't the worst of it. A day later, my scalp begins to itch like crazy. I haven't suffered from an itchy scalp for years so I racked my brain on why my scalp was bothering me.
Turns out that it was this product. It was the newest product I added into my routine and it doesn't agree with my scalp. I believe it is the strong fragrance. I will gift this to my family.

Better than gel
I read reviews about Elasta QP Glaze on another website. It is better than gel because it does not flake nor will you have product build-up. I usually put the Glaze on at night around my hairline and put a satin scarf on my head and in the morning my edges are very smooth and straight. Again, I do not have flakiness when i wake up in the morning. Sometimes I brush my hairline or just take the scarf off and do not touch my hairline and style my hair as usual.

Best styling glaze
It doesn't dry up or flake like styling gel. I tie my hair back five days a week and I look professional in uniform. It doesn't leave a greasy build-up. Sally beauty stores usually only have two or three ship in to the store weekly so every time I went to the store they were all gone. I would recommend purchasing a few online and it takes a week to get your items, but it's worth it for free shipping!
