Curls hold! The curling iron is a good one. I use it right away and don't have to wait long for it to heat up. Consistent curls all around the head and they hold very well. May 18, 2014
great product The smaller barrels are hard to find in quality products. I like it for its ease of use, the fact it gets really hot but can be dialled back to cooler temps. April 18, 2014
Disappointing This curling iron was recommended to me by my long-time stylist. I have used it almost daily since purchasing it about 5 months ago. I was extremely happy with it until a few days ago... While using it, everything was normal at first (same heat setting I always used) but by a few curls in, I noticed that the hair was steaming and that wasn't normal (But I thought the hair must have been damp or something...) By the next section, the curling iron was so hot it singed the hair off. Thankfully it was a small section and it was near the bottom. The intense heat had actually caused the hair to gel onto the barrel. Later that night I cleaned off the hair and the next morning, when I plugged it in, it wouldn't heat up at all. After 15 minutes, it was still cool enough that I could grip it by the barrel. What a disappointment! Guess I will be researching other brands for a replacement... April 14, 2014
Great curling iron! Finding a 5/8" curling iron has become almost impossible so I was happy to find this one. I thought the price was a little high and didn't buy at first. I instead ordered a cheaper one on another site that turned out to be a piece of junk with the spring breaking after 2 weeks. I then ordered the Helen of Troy and have been so pleased with it I ordered two more for the future since it's a hard to find size. March 12, 2014
