Rated 5 out of 5 by Just bought it I kept hearing people talk about the smell so I was on the edge of rather I should buy or not. When I bought it and was about to put it in my hair I smelled it and it smelled like Vicks salve and nutmeg. Even my mom said it smelled like Vicks salve. It didn't bother me because I'm used to Vicks salve. I will write another review in another month on rather it made my hair grow or not. October 5, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Best Hair Oil Out Today I have used this oil before in the past like in 2014, which was the very first time I've used this oil. I was going natural and wanting to grow my hair out fast. After looking at YouTube ladies reviewing this oil, I definitely was trying this oil. After trying it, it was the best decision I had ever made. My hair's length was to the scalp in Sept. of 2014, by the end of Dec 2014, my hair had already grown out to 2-3 inches, no lie. I am still using this stuff because I am never going without it. My hair is shoulder length now and still growing. I am a smoker and trying to quit, this oil is still growing my hair out fast. I know when I completely stop smoking, my hair will be growing even faster. People, this oil is no joke. It works on growing your hair. My recommendation about this oil is to use it lightly.A little bit can go a long way. There's need to oil your hair every day, only if you have dry hair. I use this stuff on my hair probably like twice a week, one time a day. Everybody is different, so using this oil is really up the person who is using the oil and their hair routine. You can also mix this oil with other oils too. I have this oil in my water and in my conditioner and in my shampoo. To me and my personal opinion, this oil is super great and has helped my hair grow fast. I even gave a friend of mine a free bottle of this oil. She doesn't have to tell me jack because I know it is working on her head and her kid's heads. I love this oil and would recommend this oil to anyone whose balding even men can use it too, and to anyone who just wants long hair, period. It works. Also people, this oil is cheaper at Sally Beauty, I swear. I use to buy this oil from Amazon, but everyone is charging an arm and a leg. I stick with Sally Beauty because I have a saving account or their value card to use on the discount items online. Sally Beauty sells this stuff cheaper than any other place. I have brought 4 bottle from them and planning on buying some more from SB. This oil will last more than a month, if you use it right, meaning don't use so much of it at one time. Use after washes and mix with your conditioners. This oil well I know for a fact it works very well on my hair. This oil works for real. SB sells it cheaper online from their site. Real natural hair oil and at a great price at Sally Beauty. September 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like WG, the smell is okay, faster growth? I purchased WG because I would like faster growth and I was impressed with some of the reviews within the social media. I will use WG until the first of year and then decide if it will be a staple in my natural hair journey (3 a/b hair) . The reviews had me scared of the smell but the smell is not that horrible, but WG doesn't smell like a rose either. I layered WG with my coconut oil and avocado oil (and spray with lots of water), and it calmed down the smell just a tad bit. My hair really took to this and made it very soft and manageable. I will be using this during the winter months, but not so much during the summer because I think the heat would REALLY make your hair very stinky. I won't purchase this one again, but I LOVE the WG in the yellow bottle. The smell is a little more toned down and it makes my hair awesome!!! I wish that WG was a little bit cheaper because the bottle isn't that big. I do hope for fast growth and hopefully within 9 weeks I will see something positive. November 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than Rx Scalp Oil I am a 60 year old African American woman. I've had Pustular Psoriasis for 10 years and have lost at least 1/2 of my hair volume. Have used both Wild Growth Hair Oils for 15 months. The issue is my scalp health. I needed someway to control the pustular psoriasis without all the steroids. I have not experienced "wild growth", my hair is growing the same 1/2 per month. I have not experienced "regrowth" of the volume I've lost, BUT I am experiencing much better scalp health without all the drugs. Yes! I have not used the perscribed scalp oil for the same15 months and have no intentions of doing so as long as this works for me. My reccomedation: If you have any issue with your scalp, give these oils a good long try. Go to the web site and study all the ways you can use it. I experience the best results when I apply it the same way as directed with the Rx oil . April 1, 2014

Hello, and thank you for your question. Wild Growth Hair Oil promotes strong, thick hair growth for all hair types. How to use the product can be found per the usage tips stating:

Natural/Textured Hair: Apply to damp or dry hair and scalp. Use 20 drops per quarter section of hair. Then, apply sparingly to the scalp.

Straight Hair: Use 5-10 drops on damp hair and scalp after each wash. Use less product on oily hair and scalp.
