Not bad for caucasian hair I know this product is meant to be listed as African American hair, but I use them for my own sew in extensions. I am a natural blonde, currently dyed strawberry blonde and wanted to add length to my hair. I already have very long hair, but found the 20" extensions to add a layer. This hair can be great for dreading as it seems to lock up tight. However, I currently use these extensions in their free flow setting. You cannot tell I have extensions as the texture and color matches my hair. The only downside is you do have to brush it constantly, but anyone who has natural extreme length like I do, it's not like it added any extra maintenance time. Hair did not fall out, however, when you cut the extensions to length for sew in, you will need to either sew each end or slightly melt the ends at the base to ensure you do not lose hair that is no longer tied from the cutting. Arielle I bought this hair to make my own clip-ins again. This time I bought one pack of 12 inches because (the 10 inches from 2 years ago are becoming too short and only add volume to my hair) I was looking for that layered look and I achieved it with the 12 inches. I've tried many different types of hair but this is the best quality for the price! May 29, 2012
I can dig it I never bought hair from Sally's before but it was a Sunday and Sally's was open and my normal wasn't. I normally use a higher grade of hair (remy) that can do the bumps and tricks. I was surprised on how well the hair blended with my real hair and how much hair was in a pack. Much more maintenance than with a higher grade of hair but you get what you pay for! A good buy for the quality. May 14, 2012
Awesome extensions for the price! These extensions are awesome! They were my first I ever tried and I was worried about them looking fake or getting tangled easily, but no way Jose! They are silky soft and take to heat SO well. I curled and crimped and then straightened them back out and they were good as new. (I recommend a heat protector spray for the hair before applying heat) I also recommend to wash them and then condition them before you wear them though, because they stink when you take them out. (also conditioning makes them even softer.) I let mine dry overnight and then sewed in the clips once fully dry. The weft is very long, about 6' maybe. I did notice they were a but thin though, so I doubled them up before I sewed the clips on. This was not a problem to me though because I have very thin hair, so I could have used them as they were and they still would have looked good for me. I had plenty for my whole head and even had some left over (after doubling!). And they have not tangled for me. My cat even decided to sprawl out over them ad whatnot, but I just brushed them out and they were good. If you are looking for a reasonably priced weft, buy these! Just make sure to buy glue or clips as well, since they come only as a weft. April 25, 2012
