I have thin, limp, do nothing hair. I want some body in it so I tried steam rollers and various steam machines many, many years ago and it's part of my daily styling. I used to get perms but not anymore. The trick not getting too much water in your hair. Section off the piece of hair to curl, THEN, put the roller on the machine. Don't let it get too wet, just slightly as long as it's hot. I also use "Big Sexy Hair Root Pump". I have to dry my hair after application then curl it because it makes my hair too wet. Together they have done the trick for me!! I prefer the "Revlon Iconic Steam Setter" because it has ionization, but they all work fine.

I purchased my first caruso hairsetter probably ten years ago. I have long thick hair, so hot rollers and curling irons were useless. I tried the caruso hairsetter, and I was so pleased at how easy it was to use, and my hair kept its curls for two or three days. I am about to purchase my third hairsetter, not because it stopped working, but I had an accident and broke the steamer. I would never use another hairsetter ever. I would highly reccommend this hairsetter to anyone who wants beautiful curls without ever damaging your hair.

i have been using the caruso system for many years and wouldn't use anything else. It gives me long lasting curls and doesn't burn, dry out or damage my hair like heated rollers, curling irons, etc.

I bought the Caruso steam setter and a few months later I bought these Jumbo rollers, I LOVE them. They give me the loose waves and body that I want. I highly recomend them if you want loose curls. I use them every day and get my desired results everytime.
