Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helen of Troy Tangle-Free Hot Air Brush LOVE IT!! I've short hair, thin (several surgeries and medications) and this brush is marvelous. The 1" barrel is perfect to give me just enough lift and a look of more hair then I actually have and the brush is soft on my scalp; however, don't just take my word - try it. Highly recommend for anyone with hair loss, thinning and self-conscious of those facts beyond our control. Thank you Sally's Beauty Supply for your online prompt service and offering wonderful products when I can't get into Sally's to buy in person. Anna

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not very happy I bought one of these and within 2 weeks had to return it (and I didn't even use it every day) because it kept shutting off on me half way through my styling. So - because I DID like what it did to my hair - I took it back and got another one. Well it's doing the same thing. And now it doesn't even work at all! Very disappointing - very cheaply made!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft waves and curls I have shoulder length, fine textured hair and this helps to give body at the scalp and a definite bounce from mid shaft to ends. I've not had any trouble with it getting tangled in my hair, even when rolling it up to the scalp. It releases easily, unlike other curling brushes I've used in the past. I've not had any problems with it stopping from overheating but I do keep the vents on it clean like it says you must do in the instructions that it came with. Just use a toothbrush to clean the lint from the vents every month and you shouldn't have an issue. I'm happy with it and it does what I bought it to do. I like to flip my ends up and this works perfect .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and I like that it's lightweight Perfect size, 1.5" and very easy to use. I'm a wash-and-wear gal that does not have time to fuss with my hair. I tend to let it dry on it 's own, but realize I lack a little style. I thought I would try this hot air brush. I love it! I also love that it's lightweight, not heavy to hold while using.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beats TV-Ad Product By a Mile I went to Sally's to look for something similar to the Perfecter, often advertised on late night TV. The salesperson recommended this product, which cost less than one-third the cost of the Perfecter with my Sally's card. I have thick frizzy hair. This device smooths out the frizz leaving me with sleek loose curls. I've gotten a million compliments. Two different people have even told me I look 20 years younger. (I'm 60.) The product works best if I first sparingly apply almond oil after washing my hair and then dry it with a big round brush and blow dryer. With the Helen of Troy brush, I can refresh the look in a few minutes every day for up to 5 - 7 days, depending on the weather and my activity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed the first time I used this it was great! I have baby fine hair & it gave me great body. the second time I used it the thing kept shutting off, I thought it was because it was getting too hot. then about the 10th time I was using it my husband walked by & said " Stop using that, the wires are bad!" it kept shutting off because the wiring was poor!!!!!! I couldn't take it back because it was past the allotted days for returns! I know it could have just been this one out of 1,000 that had bad wiring, but I'm not taking the chance!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific for fine, thin hair For hair that is short & fine such as mine this is a wonderful hair dryer. Works fast, doesn't fry hair. A bit pricey, but the economic downturn this country is in has put me in the 99% of the population & I watch every penny carefully. Worth it because y'won't find this sort of thing easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Far I LOVE IT! I have had this item for about two months, and I have to agree with a lot of the other reviewers as far as how great it styles and how it prevents the frizzies for naturally curly hair. My hair is about medium - thick consistency, and I have found that this styling tool works best when you get your hair about 80 - 90% dry. I read some of the other reviewers who said it takes forever to dry their hair with this. I don't think it is meant to dry your hair right out of the shower. I usually take my regular blow dryer to dry it MOST of the way, and then I use the brush. It works phenomenally! I have NEVER had a problem with my hair tangling in it, and my hair is medium length, about 1-2 inches past my shoulders. I am used to using other curling brushes, though, that DON'T have a release, and I am constantly turning the curling brush so that it DOESN'T get tangled, BUT this one has the release, which works great because it doesn't make you unwind the curl. Overall I would say this is a FANTASTIC styling tool. I was leary at first about it, but now I absolutely LOVE it! I haven't had any problems with it shutting down needing to cool like others have mentioned. I use it about 3-4 times a week. My MIL wants one, and I'm going to get another one for her birthday. This is a GREAT invention!
