Ion I-Fusion Flat Iron
I would say as far as heat this flat iron is fine because it gets plenty hot enough but it wasn't long before it started leaking bad so i tried the other reservoir that came with it and it started leaking right away too. I still used it for awhile without the liquid but i bought it for the vapor so I will be getting something else soon and I have heard all vapor irons leak so I'm going to skip that feature next time.

Terrible Product DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
If you buy this product just to try it out PLEASE keep your receipt and the box. When the cartridges start leaking, Sally's does not sale replaceable ones and the company gives you the run-around. Your only option after that is to return the flat iron for a full refund. As far as how the product worked It didn't straighten my hair as I thought it would. It would feel as if it were smooth and straight but it would still be puffy as if humidity had gotten to it. The best bet is to put oil on your hair right after straightening with this product. Maybe that was because I had the steam set to the highest setting. The liquid that fills the cartridge also has a rancid smell to it that lingers in your hair after being used.

I honestly love this flat iron, because it really straightens my hair and It lasts. On humid days, and even on rainy days, my hair looks healthy and shiny, not dried out. The only reason I did not give the gadget a 5 star rating is because the oil tank is so flimsy. This is the 3rd time that I am using the flat iron and the little plastic attachment to hook the tank into the gadget broke.Fortunately an extra one comes in the box. I need to know if I can get a replacement if that breaks too. Besides that it does a great job. I am African American with natural hair.

Buy this not $200 Corioliss
I have natural hair and went to a new stylist who used a Corioliss K2 iron on my hair. I fell in love with how shiny and silky my hair was. I searched for the Corioliss and found that it costed over $200 at the time. I began a hunt going to several beauty supply stores looking for something similar & affordable. I was in Sally's on nail business and found the Ion I-fusion which at the time was called Ion I-Pak Fusion. I fell in love; my hair turned out the same as when the stylist did it. I save $65 a week by flat ironing my own hair. I never need to use any oil sheen on my hair I simply wash it again for the week and the iron adds all the shine back. I only have problems with leakage when I remove the tank from the iron but never while I'm straightening my hair. The first one of these I bought blew out on me in nine months. So I bought another that has lasted a year so far. I have broken a tank before while inserting it into the iron. TIP: hold the lever back while you insert the tank and release it once the tank is fully inserted to lock it in place.
